+/- is a good stat to a point


but




if your team is bad, and you are playing a lot of minutes when the team is trying to tie it up or the goalie is yanked


your probably adding a -20 to your name just for being in those situations a lot


it's a more accurate stat for the bottom half of your roster because they are not playing those moments


just like a good player on a good team gets a plus 20 bump for being on the ice for those situations

Eakin had 22 goals in 1 season, the season or 2 before we signed him.

Johan Larsson prior to last season in arizona,

30 goals in nhl 306 games.

I'd bet the odds of eakin scoring more goals again.

I think most people who said when Cody Eakin was signed and they said see ya to Latsson it was more who cares about Larsson and new blood is good especially when you looked at Eakin's past stats. It wasn't so much starting an Eakin fan club but an anything but this crap. I personally was so sick of losing with Johan Larsson, and Great28, having Sam and Skinner as their top effing wingers which I have a tough time understanding why people shed one tear for Sam leaving and not paying those two 16 million collectively long term in the top 6 instead of moving on. I am ecstatic about how they held on and got what they did for Risto and have no problem with trading him and I was a Risto supporter but it was time to cut the cord. Now, it is time, soon, to make the right Jack deal.

More specifically I posted that I thought cody. Eakin. Would add more offensive. Maybe some playoff experience. Looked like we were actually trying to win by signing Stahl, hall and a veteran in eakin.

they literally thought they could win the cup when/if hall signed and adams made it clear in the hall feature the other guys had to lock up the other sabres they put priority on getting, which was eakin and rieder

When your highest scorer since Rick Nash was that one season where Nic Foligno had 73 points, I'd say Columbus is where scoring goes to die at this point.

Having Tortorella as coach and his wizard of dump-and-chase successor, you couldn't even get Ovechkin to score more than 30 goals.

There is no way I believe they believe what they said that they thought they were going to win the Cup with that D and basically one and half-lines, and those goalies. They signed Hall to try to keep Jack happy, try to maybe make the playoffs and not have to trade him, and not think they were going to actually win the Cup but that's my belief. Cody Eakin and Tobias Reider do not help win the Cup.

It absolutely is. Campy, fun, new monster, old monster, and Jet Jaguar is like if Ultraman wasn't a complete fag. Godzilla vs. Megalon and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla are my favorite Showa movies.

Godzilla vs. DESTOROYAH is my favorite Heisei movie.

So as management, maybe you get rid of the guy that scored 30 nhl goals in 300+ games?

And replace him with a former 22 goal scorer and guy that has playoff experience.
