I think he's a guy that Kevyn puts in the category of 'we'll move on if they don't work out'. Ton of kids in the system now. Actual long term prospects with actual high end skill. With guys like Sam Ventura here, guys like Risto, Eakin and Tage who demolish your chances to win are on their way out. - TheSabresTaco

KA gave him that contract. This organization is hellbent on Tage working out |

The stats don't show it, but I think we see a breakout year from Tallness. He has the talent, he needs to put it all together and use his size as is mentioned. I think he scores 20 next year if we play 82. |

Make or break year for him.
He has the talent, but potential only means so much if you can’t realize that potential.
I’ve always had optimism about him but we need to see the results this year |

He's got to learn how to make room for himself, got a good shot. Doesn't utilize his size enough. |

I don't think he will be traded just yet, he will get this year to prove it. Maybe at the 23 TDL - Buff36
Going off Adams sluggish pace to roster turnover during the season you might be right.

I hear you. And maybe they keep him here the whole contract. But if he's still lousy after next season is over, I think they move on. I understand why he got this contract. I don't agree with it, but I understand it. I won't understand if he doesn't improve through the next two seasons and they keep him anyway. Adams hasn't given me a reason that starting this past offseason, he's going to be a cold GM. He will do whatever is best for the Sabres in the short and long term, no matter what. If that includes releasing Terry's pet project, then that's what he'll do. |

Does anyone think its a little fishy why Eichel and his agents have not filed for Medical Arbitration? I mean if he is really that disgruntled and really believes that his surgery is the best for him, why not take the Sabres to Arb? Me thinks because he will lose and have to have the Sabres surgery.
But listening to GR this morning, If Eichel stays on the path that he is going, it looks inevitable that Jack will of course fail his physical, and then be suspended without pay for not doing what the team told him to do.
The shat will really hit the fan then and I cant wait to have a front row seat to that show!!

The path to Tage remaining an NHLer as I see it - is to be a 15+15 3rd liner with PP2 and PK2 time.
He has to make better decisions, use his stick better and improve his d game drastically to make that happen. If he continues to be way too cute in both zones then he's likely not gonna stick around the show |

He dropped the gloves with Kevin Miller, I don't think he's a total puff like Nylander. |

It's pretty simple why he hasn't filed. There isn't a doctor out there that can confidently in a court like setting argue against the doctor that is basically the god father of the artificial disc replacement surgery.
If he is against it, how can any independent arbitrator go against him? |
