My example of Sabres’ season tickets probably wasn’t the best example to use but something I thought of off the top of my head.

I actually think you are smart to keep the season tickets for the reasons you stated.

My post was not meant to be a defamation of character just a poor metaphor on my part.

You are obviously doing something right in life to have the discretionary income to support the local sports teams so for that I say kudos to you.

My theory with the tickets, similar to the Bill's, this town loves a winner. There is very few things to do outside of Sabres hockey during the winter.... its inevitable, the sabres can't suck forever.... sports have ups and downs.
It's very stock market driven.....

Also, bringing nephews, cousins , kids, kids friends ect is priceless.

I generally sell the leafs, habs, bruins, nyr, Pittsburgh games and go to the other games.

The worse the Sabres play, the more fun it is to see other team's stars.

Oilers, caps, tampa I try and keep...
