So, ror was traded for berglund, sobokta, timber and some picks. Different gm, different situation.

If timber or Johnson (2nd round pick) pan out and become quality nhl players, the trade wouldnt look as bad.

You wanted him gone for anything, because you are not good at evaluating hockey talent.


As for risto, you will never admit that you repeatedly said he sucked, was a 5th or 6th defenseman and that we should have kept borgen and left him unprotected.

The return for risto is a direct correlation between keeping borgen (which you wanted) and trading risto for a great return.

I was the only poster saying , dont expect much from sam and that risto's return would be greater.

he floated a lot his last 30 games as a sabre

if we waited another 12 to 24 months before adding a ror, a kane and a goalie things might have been different
