2018-19 defenseman stats
Pietrangelo 41 points
Risto 43 points
Pietrangelo superstar
Risto - worst defenseman ever, 5 or 6th defenseman, less value than will 14 games 0 points borgen - Boss34
I know you're trolling at this point but one defensemen is a positive possession player and the other is one of the worst.
Not to mention Risto was a -41 that season and Pietrangelo was a plus player |

So does schwatz having a good playoff mean that ror steped into a stacked st. Louis team?
I'm not sure if there has been a team that won recently that is less stacked.
Tampa is stacked
The caps were stacked
Bruins pretty stacked
Pittsburgh
Chicago
Just because someone doesnt like how ror left the organization, doesnt mean he wasnt a really good player.
Also, doesnt mean he went to a super franchise full of stars and was the final insignificant piece.
He was the difference maker.. - Boss34
The Blues were a 4 line hockey club, they were a strong team.
They had the second best record in the entire league the last half of that year when Berube took over they finished either the best if not second best to the Bruins in goals allowed.
They scored just enough, as you pointed out.
People get so hung up on offence and scoring goals yet every year it’s the teams that defend that go the distance.
Tampa Bay has been an elite team for how many years now and it wasn’t until they could master winning the low scoring games and defend as good as they could score that they finally reached the pinnacle. |

2 of the Best defenseman im the league 2018/19 41 points and 35 points
Risto 43 points that season ☝️☝️😀
Leagues best goalie from January on , maybe
Consider binnington part of a "stacked" team apon arrival

right guy, wrong time
he floated a lot his last 30 games as a sabre
if we waited another 12 to 24 months before adding a ror, a kane and a goalie things might have been different
but terry wanted to rush the rebuild - homiedclown
Moving forward 🤝
I completely agree, we all wanted a winner .... though |

Honestly that’s the least thing that annoys me about her.
And it wouldn’t surprise me if that was a ploy to get attention because that’s all she cares about
She defended Chris Brown beating Rhianna, has some pretty awful anti gay tweets (yes I know she’s bi) and is just crazy arrogant
She just sucks - sbroads24

Yes, I'm trolling with hand picked stats and using a posters own words and stats to back up my opinion.
Vince Dunn is one of the best defenseman in the league too. ☝️
You're the right guy for this question, given your background.
Was st. Louis stacked when ror arrived? |

I agree with most if your posts... this included.
But a 4 line team of no name guys is not considered "stacked"
Tampa is elite
Elite = stacked
Also the whole point was, ror stepped into some juggernaut. Like you said , they came on after the holidays. Christmas time.
Seriously the least stacked team to win in a decade.

A bit off topic....
So as a man of 40-something years I realized earlier this year that I was just tired of drinking. I was never one to drink to any kind of excess but I would like clockwork have my 2 or 3 pops a night. Usually beer but other times vodka, bourbon or red wine.
So a friend is visiting from out of town earlier this month and knew of my predicament. She picked up some edibles from a dispensary near her house and urged me to try them as a substitute. Ugh... I should have done this years ago.
So.... another friend had heard that at least one of the reservations in the area was legally selling them. Does anyone know this to be true? I am really trying to avoid driving 5 hours to the nearest out-of-state dispensary. |

I would say St Louis was a playoff team year in year out (minus their 94 point season and didn't make it) and couldn't get over the hump.
They were extremely well built and ROR plus Binnington put them over that hump.
They reminded me of Washington which took years to get over the hump to win it all. Sort of reminds me of the Bruins with how they were built. |

the other teams were pretty stacked
bolts twice
kings twice
pens twice
hawks twice
caps
blues
bruins
probably blues is least stacked of the 11 teams
but nothing compares to the 06 canes, they were the least stacked team of the 2000's |

How many super stars did Vegas have when they went to the SCF in their inaugural season ?
Vegas had 4 lines of good to great hockey players.
It’s a team sport and you’re only as good as the sum of your parts.
The Oilers have two of the top 10 players on the planet and didn’t even win a playoff game this year. |

You can argue whether or not marijuana should or shouldn't be a banned substance, but the reality is, right now, it is. If you're (supposedly) working that hard to get to the top of your craft, you need to be smarter than that, period. - buffalofan19

Absolutely, if you took ovi, Kuznetsov and Backstrom off the caps and the hall of fame line of Marchant, Bergeron and pasta off the Bruins.
The teams would be very Similar.
Well built got the coach fired.
The goalie got hot, that's why they won.
That and ror's leadership
Jaden Schwartz too
* I misread your post and agree they were good for a while before winning. |

Stacked is not how I would describe the 2018-19 blues
Lucky yeah
250-1 odds to win the cup in January that year
That is not stacked. |
