No, he was a junior at Michigan, producing near identical numbers (no playoffs).

The point is, expecting a kid to come in and be as productive as a mature veteran who took a long time to find their niche is very Canuck.

Podkolzin is not likely to see PK or PP time. He will likely be playing 8-10 min per night 5 on 5 with either Sutter or Richardinson. Could he move up? Sure, I guess, if there are injuries.
