Well well well, how the turntables.... I'm in Germany so I'm 9 hours ahead of Van, takes me a while to catch up to things.

That said, the interview was meh, mainly because it's Bo. He gave very captain-like answers, straight-forward and not trying to rock the boat. Not the best guy to get some juicy details from.

Lot of talk in this market about this organization needing to begin to win with this current core group, about a certain creeping impatience to play in big, meaningful games — like your club did in the bubble in 2020. How much does this season mean to you, personally, in terms of wanting to see the team make some progress?

I’ve been on the team, this will be my eighth year coming up, which is crazy. And I want to be in the playoffs.

I don’t want to go through the motions in the regular season and be done in April. I want to be playing in the playoffs, it’s the best time to play, it’s when I find I take my game to the next level. And I think we have the team here to get there. We just have to go prove it now.

Enough is enough, we can talk all we want, at the end of the day we have to go out there and prove it on the ice.
