Yep
I'm sure Jack is missing the hockey thing.
Couldn't bully kagm
Has surgery, stays out until January, plays in the Olympics and then gets traded to a competitor at the deadline..... looks like a top 5 center.
We eat 3 million a year
Prorated salary at the deadline + prorated $ retained
Gives eichels new team :
5 playoff runs.
This year for 1.25 million....
7 per for the next 4 years.
Sabres recieve mostly futures and 1 good young nhl talent:
Byfield
Dach
Laferierre - Boss34
highly doubt they'll do that...possible, but not probable that they'll eat $15m to trade him |

I think the move is an all in attempt to get the hell out of buffalo at any and all cost - homiedclown
Wouldn't be surprised if we see some kind of movement of the situation. |

If he is healthy and they don't want him in the locker room this could be there way to show he is good to go and not having him play another game in a Sabres uniform.
But I am not optimistic the NHLers actually go

I wonder if that's a factor in this decision. He's realizing that his window of being healthy enough to play in the Olympics is closing.

I realize it's never been done before, but Buffalo is a completely different situation.
No veteran cap dump would be happy here. That's guaranteed.
Older nhl guy, probably a former good player that's overpaid, chose his destination and was on a winning team. Or a team that isnt trying to get the top pick.
Pegula's I'm sure do not want to eat any eichel $, but also want to look good after tanking for mceichel.
They need a really good return to feel "smart " about losing on purpose and flushing this franchise on the toilet.
No more bad attitudes, no more players that do not want to be here. How much veteran leadership does a miserable guy help? |

Eichel would be healthy, same risk as everyone else....
Obviously if the back is still bad, this wouldnt be an option.
What's the likelyhood of a career injury or even one that makes eichel untradeable before July 1st? |

Totally random, haven't paid much attention as I live in the UK
The supreme court denied extending the rent reforemdom
So you didn't have to pay rent during Covid? Would you have to pay back all the rent you would have owed? Or from now on if you don't pay your monthly rent you can be evicted? - dmarsden2988
My Dad still has a couple houses in Buffalo. He has a couple tenants that he can not evict and have not paid rent in over a year. But he still has to pay all the taxes. And no, he probably won’t get the back rent paid. Simply out that money.
He’s so fed up with it, he’s just selling them. |

It’s bullpoop that some try to paint the picture that all landlords are Rockefellers or slumlords, and that no one is hurt by this policy.
Gvmnt gives out stimulus checks but still no one can pay any of their rent, and all while wallyworld can’t keep enough TVs in stock. |

Not only that, but when the moratoriums are lifted it will take a year or more for the backlog of cases to run thru the courts |
