Ehhh...there are more players that don't want the vaccine than just Beasley. Hell, the fact that five players need to stay away for five days pretty much says as much. Beasley is just the one that's the most vocal about it.

Beane and McDermott have been very non-committal to their stance on vaccines. They've taken it because they were required to. They weren't given a choice like the players were. And they've essentially said as much, as well as respecting their players stances, etc. Compare that to Mike Zimmer in Minnesota who all but blasted Kirk Cousins. If Beane and McDermott really felt Beasley was going against the "culture", they would be wording things much, much differently.

That being said, Beasley is probably walking a very thin line. If his production happens to fall off a cliff, he's in trouble. He has most likely eliminated his margin for error.

The part that nobody is talking about with Dawkins is that he openly acknowledged that he caught it before his inoculation period ended. In other words, he caught it, while having the vaccine in his system. When that happens, it has caused problems with more than a few people. It was bad timing.
