No Tarasenko deals to the Flames, thank-you.
Blow up the roster to get Eichel, if you have to, but not for Vlad. - MABster
So you don't want Tarasenko on a two year deal, finally healthy, but want to blow up the roster to trade for Eichel, who once is traded likely won't play for six months
and no one knows how he will come back from neck surgery, and still owe him 60 million on his deal.good luck with that. |

So with about 3 mill in cap space, and now only needing to ink Mackey- are the flames done and ready to begin the season? Now that we have all the guys signed, will Tre make a last minute push for Eichel and make a BIG shakeup? Or is our roster set? What do yall think- or hope gets done before the start of the season - Squilliam
I don't think Treliving is done, he has to make a hockey trade to move salary. If Buffalo can't agree to take a player back with picks and prospects , I don't see a trade happening.would rather Backlund be included and not Monahan in any deal involving Eichel.
Dube played center in Kelowna, he'd make a great shutdown, checking 3rd line center with some offensive talent.
Tkachuk, Eichel, Gaudreau
Mang, Monahan, Lindholm
Pelletiier, Dube, Coleman
Switch around as you see fit. |

There is far too much back-door dealings and collusion in the NHL for Tarasenko to have that much value. Seattle was already trying to shop him before they passed on him at the draft, and if they had a chance of flipping him for a top prospect or a 1st, they would have scooped him up. No more than a 2nd rd pick will acquire Tarasenko. There is plenty of risk associated with him and his physical rehab, as well as his overly vocal disposition with ownership. - bikeguy99
Lol ypu act like you know what you are talking about but you don't. Francis had a talk with tarasenkos agent and didn't like what he heard in regards to dropping the no trade clause so he chose Dunn a top 4lh puck moving dman that is young. Lol |

Backlund, Pelletier, Kylington and a protected 1st would be enough for me to move Eichel. - G - Man
If that is all it took it would be done 2 months ago

Are you suggesting Eichel doesn't have more value league wide than Tarasenko?

It’s not a concussion thing. The chances he makes a full recovery are extremely high. A team's not going to trade for him unless they’re cool with his preferred surgery, so he’ll likely be out less than two months. |

Tarasenko's shoulder at this point is considered chronic so no one is giving up much to assume that risk.... thats the bottom line! |

I don't think Tarasenko is a fit for us. I'm not sure but we might be done for now. 43/50 contracts (including Mackey). Maybe Michael Stone as a PTO. We could start with a 22-man roster. Zary could be a surprise at camp, non-stop motor, can play the 3 positions up front, natural leader, competitor, can do everything on the ice, coach's perfect player. |

Could you imagine Eichel and McDavid in the same province (and division, natch)? It would be the '80s rivalry all over again. Please make this happen. |

Or Pelletier. I thought he looks really good in the WJC. Started on the 4th line and was on the top line by the end of the tournament. Have a feeling he's going to make this team. |

Looking forward to training camp so we can size up these guys. Wolf should get some action, I'd be interested to see how he does at the pro level. |

Maybe Tre should call up Bergy & offer him Monahan for the rights to KK. We either match the offer sheet & play him as a 3C & see if he's worthy of a 3rd over all pedigree or we take the picks & parlay them in the package for Eichel. |

I think to make the cap work, a trade for Mony to the Habs would have to include money coming back.
They are stacked with right shot RW though... Caulfield, Gallagher, Anderson, Toffoli, Armia. |

Exactly! Lordy can't get over the fact that Benning chose OJ over Chucky. It's simply a jealous envious feeling. |
