I've been to probably 6 or 7 sabres games in tampa.

I remember during the hasek years, it was all Sabres fans. Chanting thru out the game.

Last few times, very few sabres fans and new rules where you couldn't even wear you road jersey.

Allstar game a few years ago with Matthew's and eichel together was fun....

They walked both directly to UFA. Can't excuse the horrendous asset management mistakes they've made. McCabe wasn't KA's deal, but I'd have a hard time believing he was offering him a mutli-year extension last summer.

Ullmark looked good in limited action and not durable

I think trading him now - while hurt, disgruntled and value depleted - is a huge mistake.

I hope KA takes this the distance. Promise him that when he's healthy, he gets his "C" back to let Eichel save face. Trade him after he proves his neck is right.

Both sides need to make it work to get a trade done. Enough of the talking from both parties

Why would he want to stay? The losing has been continuous since he joined the Sabres.

As for ullmark, I'm not sure if he proved anything to warrant a long term deal under kagm. He probably wanted to take a look this season, unfortunately he got hurt.
