Is Andrew Cassels' kid an NHL prospect? Can they get him too?

Stole my thunder.
Everyone knows that a "Sanderson" is completely useless w/o a "Cassels". |

Just a thought, Maybe this has a bigger effect. If in fact the Habs were working on a deal for Eichel, perhaps KK was one of the pieces in the proposed package. By offer sheeting him the Canes may be screwing with the Habs effort to land Eichel. |

Part of me wonders if they already have gentleman agreement on the next contract if Montreal lets him go. Yes everyone says well they need to qualify him at 6.1 million. But that's just 2 retain restricted free agent rights they could sign up for 8 years for like 4 to 5 million after that. Right now I believe the key was to steal him and stick it to Bergevin. I guess time will tell but I truly think Montreal's going to let him walk instead of pay that price. Which can work it out to their advantage if they flip those picks for a more established Center that makes less money, and yes I'm going by all these Christian Dvorak rumors as a perfect example.
I believe the Montreal GM will take this week to set up a trade and if it doesn't work out then he will match |

I see that Pronman is making a list of all organizations ranked by their young talent. The talent has to be under 23 to qualify. I see us coming in second after the Kings? |

If he separates his ego from the situation I think that's exactly what he does. This is a pyrrhic victory for the Canes. They lost the their goalie and a darn good defenseman and allocate that money to satisfy an old grudge?
Not smart imo. Good for the memes though |

Hard to say what donnie has instore for olo.
Seems like 1st line and PP minutes by default.
Maybe a good trade target at the deadline. ☝️
Goaloffson + great28 > small soft slow sam

Last year he had us in the middle.. 16, something like that. I suspect with this draft, we move up. I think top 10 is reasonable but I'd be shocked to see us top 5.

Without Jack, the Eichel-tit sucking Olfsson is a nobody in this league. A PP Specialst at $3m per...no thanks.
The smart move is to package him with Jack and eat 50% of his 1 year remaining.

When you think about it, think of all of the teams to whom we could potentially trade Jack. There are only a handful of teams with top-end young prospects. It's tough to beat Dahlin, Power, Cozens, more. I think the top 5 has Kings, Sabres, Rangers, maybe Ottawa and the Ducks. Who else am I missing? Colorado? |

Unfortunately the lesson learned from the Aho OS and the subsequent Kotkaniemi situation may mean even fewer offer sheets moving forward.
At least we're not talking about a potential barn fight this time though |

It depends on if GMs stop trying to be friends with everyone and actually become cut throat to build a winning team

It's humorous that he used the words small and soft when you can use those exact words to describe Olofsson, but he's a feel good 7th round pick story so it doesn't matter. |

Oloffsson will never be first line material. Better off flipping him for a draft choice. Sabres arent good enough for a one trick pony.
It would be hilarious if Carolina signs Kotkaniemi. The NHL isnt high school. - Goalieguy43
The devil's need a guy like oloffson who can score even if it's just his lethal PP SHOT
what would it take In a trade |
