apparently he has already confirmed he'd be willing to play at center, if he's asked to... - Pat1993

I don't find it's very good idea, and it should be considered as a very "last resort" option, but you never know, if the good version of Drouin shows up, and if he's paired with guys he can develop chemistry with, it could work out... |

This is going to be a painful and long and wasted season, so I think there will be lots of experiments to see what can / will work in the future.
So who knows... |

Well, right now is kinda surplus to requirements on the LW since there are others ahead of him so it could be an idea to get more talent in the top 6... but yeah that would be if they cannot find a “real” center in a trade which let’s face it is possible...they tried to trade for one for like 20 years lol |

an isles fan making a deal on behalf of the senators, this should be fun.
|
|
|
|
Well.
From a Melnyk stand point.
If Webber goes on LTIR--melnyk doesn't pay
If Webber retires--melnyk doesn't pay
IF he comes back, after a year and gives it a go, he's a quality guy who can teach Ottawa' young D corps how to play. Unlike Gudbrandson who was a bit of a buffoon.
For whatever reason Melnyk, DJ Smith have both soured on White. The fans have soured on the contract.
Montreal gets a 2nd/3rd line center.

Meh.
Weber will retire a Habs. (meaning he will finish his contract on or off the ice). |

Isn't that pretty much this entire site? I actually come here for the comments. Some of the bloggers aren't half bad.
I'll admit when the Webber for Suban trade happened I was all over Bergevin for a stupid trade. Turns out he was a genius on that one. I just shake my head at where Suban's game is now.

you mean for that particular poster? it wouldn't surprise me if he's "appreciated" the same way in other threads loll...
and yeah Subban was once upon a time one of my favorite players, kinda sad how his game dropped, but I'm sure the money and social media clout helps him to forget all about it.
