I'm old lol so bear with me.
I remember when the Habs used to make their prospects spend a year or 2 or 3 in the minors before making the big club and we'd all complain "Other teams get their kids in the lineup why can't we, it sucks to waste your kids in the minors!"
Now when we try to move our prospects in quickly we complain "They need more time in the minors to develop!"
We can't win.
Everybody going off how KK is a 3OA and we are giving up on him, but he was NOT supposed to 3OA we just drafted for need. WOuld we still be having this discussion if he'd been drafted late 1st?
I would have loved to be patient and give KK time and watch him grow, but with a flat cap and salaries growing every year we can't afford the comparable. It screws the team for years with RFAs coming up.
I'd say keep the picks go with what we got and with a supposed deep draft in Montreal we take our chances with the picks, who knows maybe we can use them to trade up.
CAR lost their top Dman and their goalie so to say they will still do as well is silly.
Funny how we lost Weber and it's disaster yet they lose Hamilton and it's like nothing happened.
If it can't get done internally then next year we address it. Price and Weber got their shot at the cup and now we see what we have as those 2 won't be here for much longer.

All collectables are in theory dumb but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Is the value of crypto currency any more real than that of a pog or a trading card? As long as you find a bigger sucker eventually willing to pay more then sure there's an advantage.

All collectables are in theory dumb but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Is the value of crypto currency any more real than that of a pog or a trading card? As long as you find a bigger sucker eventually willing to pay more then sure there's an advantage.

well at least with cryptocurrency you actually have a "digital wallet" of your own, and know exactly how much you have, whereas anyone can have the same NFTs as you do on their computer, even if you buy one and proclaim yourself as the owner.

I've got like 14 Pro Set Nik Lidstrom rookie cards at my parents house. They're probably not worth the card stock they're printed on
