i miss the days when one RB got most of the carries for his team. everybody just uses 3 okay backs now. how are they supposed to get famous and up the value of my trading card that way?

Math says it's smart team building. Smarter team building is never draft a RB before the 3rd day of the draft and never pay a RB a second contract. Parents, don't let your kids grow up to be running backs.

Also I appreciate that your complaint about the lack of "bell-cows" isn't a fantasy gripe

Terrible idea. The guy just took time off to settle some kind of trauma/ailment and people want to throw him back to the wolves? Not to mention the first experiment at center failed. Can we not wait a little bit to let him quietly regain his confidence? get his game back?

TD is possibly the best argument for my offensive line comment. Mike Shanahan had 1000 yard back after 1000 yard back behind that Denver line. TD is a hall of famer so got more yardage obviously but there's some meh guys who did really well behind that line in that system. Pretty sure that's how they built up Clinton Portis to trade him for (one of my all time favourite players) Champ Bailey

I'm a 49ers fan and watching Kyle Shanahan and their run game/scheme is amazing to me. When Mostert is healthy, with that speed, it's almost unfair. If they use Lance in the running game and go 11 on 11 with the d, that's officially unfair

Health and they drafted their long term guy in the 3rd this year, Trey Sermon. Mostert is a track athlete, easily top 5 fastest players in the league but he's not built for 20+ touches a game. 10-15 is his sweet spot for health and burst so you need to spell him...leading back to our earlier discussion about running backs not mattering anymore.

I liked Swift coming out but Detroit is going to be...baaaaaad. Their o line is decent but Stafford to Goff is a major downgrade and their new knee cap biting, two extra large coffees with four shots of espresso every morning coach...they're gonna suuuuuuuck and I'd avoid them. They'll be passing a lot in the second half of games they're down 20+ by halftime

Reason I said I'm unreliable with that stuff is I used to do it a LOT and gf asked me to stop joining new leagues, limit it to my current ones. A decade ago I spent waaaaay too much time on it
