Can you please expand on your “chemistry” opinion? I find it fascinating because when you look at last seasons point totals it doesn’t scream chemistry.
Pearson 10g 8a
Horvat 19g 20a
In my opinion, Pearson is no longer a top six player. - bloatedmosquito
A lot of Horvat's production came on the PP without Pearson as well.
Never considered Pearson a top 6 player. Green thinks he is though....

Bo is clearly Hydrogen and Pearson is Oxygen. HO is possible, but the bond isn’t nearly as strong unless two O’s are present. Now that Lui is gone (the other O), the chemistry suggests that Bo’s growth should lead to H2 and with Garland being introduced (O4) hopefully Höglander sticks (S) to create the wickedly strong H2SO4. - 1970vintage
The Hydrogen Peroxide Line. I'll have to remember that....

Yeah, I generally don’t agree with Green’s strategies and tactics. IMO, he tries to shoehorn players into his system regardless of their abilities.
I don’t think it would be any great loss to player/team production if you took Pearson off of Horvat’s line. Love to see a bit more skill/aggression on Horvat’s wing. More than what Pearson brings anyway… Pearson’s such a vanilla player. |

I think he was considered a shutdown guy, along with Bo. Be interestig to see if he plays with Dyckinson in a similar role rather than Bo, maybe Bo gets more offensove guys. |

They should all do their hair 👱 - 1970vintage
Remember years ago (1998) a bunch of Canuck rookies dyed their hair blonde? I think it was Cooke, Schaefer, and a few others. It was news worthy at the time. Now, not so much. lol.
Just went to look it up and couldn’t find anything about it but did find a picture of Peter Schaefer today. Looking a bit rough.

Yet the last two or three seasons Green has gone on about three scoring lines that always has Pearson with Horvat as a shut down line.... Its obvious that's Green's comfort zone regardless of what he says.

Turtlechuk? Maybe Garland will just flip a puck at him after the game and he'll pout for another season about his teammates not sticking up for him. - Load Management
Cam Garland even flip a puck with those little arms? Guy makes Kole Lind full grown. |

You see a lot of things K-mam, including your team getttung bigger and slower as they move into Sutter mode.
I think you meant to say was: I sure wish Calgary had a journalist as good as Carol Schram. - neem55
That's exactly it, you guys know how good a journalist Carol is. Totally jealous. |

Those are decent numbers for a short crater of a season. So how does your take dispel a pretty widely known fact? That Bo likes playing with Pearson and Green has consistently kept them together. Heck it was another reason to extend at TDL.
From what Green's being saying about options he's looking at a top 9. So its not so much if Pearson is top 6 amongst all the forwards as where he fits best. - NuckUp
A an you please provide a link to this Bromance? You continually use this as fact and I can't remember reading this written by anyone credible. Thanks in advance.
