Hard to say. He played in the Swedish beer league during his draft year. Was a 2nd round pick in the OHL Priority Draft and was scoreless in 4 games in the OHL as a 16/17 year old.

oh I agree, but at the same time it doesn't mean because they say they completely understand the risks that they actually do, especially at 18 years old. and even older, I'm sure a lot of fighters think "nah, nothing bad will happen to me, I'm strong and skilled enough to prevent anything like that".

some people are talking about banning combat sports, which I think is dumb, but changes definitely need to be made to maximize the safety of athletes. there's lots of room for improvement in that regard.
