First, I like him as an off-wing sniper similar to Thomas Vanek who was a right-shot left wing, and second, the RW options on the team are pretty sparse. He can play either. Played RW to end the season under Granato. Played LW with Eichel.

It only benefits Olofsson being able to play both sides, and doing so under Granato will hopefully benefit both the Sabres and Olofsson.

Sabres have a full roster and the only way a pto is possible, in my opinion, is if Jack is still Sabres property and starts the year on IR. otherwise I don't see it as likely.

I think the key here is that he played RW after they acquired Bjork and moved Sam to C. Log jam at LW + someone had to do it. They tried it before and it didn't stick. It doesn't seem like they like him there, but they just don't have many options.

If Great28 ends up playing RW, it won't be surprising at all. He's shown to be more comfortable there than the others.
