I know but he's bidding against people not himself. He isn't guaranteed anyone.
The only one he's guaranteed is then Gibson
Like I said, me personally would go Ridley, use the savings on another stud, and hopefully walk away with two monsters. - sbroads24
ridley IMO is the second safest pick of the top wr's with hopkins being the safest
I think he can get 3 studs to go with gibson |

I won my big money league because of 3 simple things
I went late on allen and hit at qb
I went late on wr2 and hit with diggs
I grabbed gibson from waivers
IMO you win the league with waiver pick up, you don't win the league with draft
you can however lose the league with your draft - homiedclown
But these two were studs.... |

Ouch.
I was going to prioritize Dobbins myself until the injury. Did both my drafts the last few days.
I petitioned to have a draft postponed to this week because of my fear of a freak preseason injury happening week 3.
Sorry for jinxing you I guess haha - Pegullaville
I drafted dobbins for flex in a league right before the injury broke
so in essence I picked phillip lindsay in the 5th rd

Only saving grace is I have Mahomes and Russell Wilson. If Mahomes goes full 2019, I got a shot at winning any given week. - SDSabre
What are your thoughts on AJ Dillon? Will he get more PT? Is there some kind of rift with the coach and Aaron Jones? Something didn't look quite right last year. |

Melvin Gordon is still RB1 for the time being.
However Williams could make a late push for it and give you the value come playoff time.
I also think Gordon is slept on and still a very good RB. |

No eichel : skimmer (15-20 G) - eakin ( 7-10G)- olo (20-25G)
= 42 - 55 goals
Eichel- skimmer (30G) - eichel (35-40G) -olo (30G)
= 95- 100 goals.
With eichel, its reasonable to think the Sabres could score an additional 43-45 goals this season.
43-45 goals is probably 15-20 more wins
So eichel comes back and we have a young competitive team.... and everyone around him ,become more valuable - Boss34
Point taken. However, Skimmer was able to score 30 goals multiple times for Carolina without a player of Eichel's skill level. He's got the tools and chutzpah to hit that 25-30+ goal again. Needs a top-6/top-line role with skilled line mates to facilitate, as Hank pointed out, his need for shot-volume. He's always had the ability to find that soft spot and he's got an excellent shot.
The doghouse is no place for a player of his skill level. |

Skinner was also younger at that point.
I think he can be a useful player but because he is overpaid it will hang over him like a black cloud. |

That's a fact. The Sabres will have to decide if they want to bury him on the 3rd line and get 12 goals out of him, or give him prime o zone opportunities and potentially get 30+
For pure entertainment sake I hope it's the latter. Jeff Skinner is one of the most fun players to watch on this team (when he's not dead inside). His skating is a show in itself |

I’m expecting a production increase going into his sophomore year. If not he stays on my bench. Was worth the late round flier in my eyes |

By a thread.
They held out Williams in preseason game 3 and played Gordon. It’s telling |

Good post
Sadly 29 is getting to be a bit of a "age" concern. Skimmers speed and style shouldnt take the matt okmoulson dive? Hopefully.
The 30 goal seasons without true centers, was kinda his thing. He's not doing that thing anymore... could be losing or ralph or he's super rich now...
Currently skimmer has the worst, most immovable contract in the league. At least it helps us hit the cap floor.
Eichel in the lineup not only adds his 30-35 goals, but an additional 10 goals for each of his linemates.
That's a huge swing in the standings.
Terry P. Has to be looking thru his fan club glasses, regardless of personal differences with eichel....
Dare I say: jack , if your not healthy enough for camp, you will not be able to play in the Olympics.... find another new agent, kid....
Olympics- eichel 1st chance to win anything since the NA team ....

Soon to be 33 year old Sergei Bobrovsky has 5 years and 50 mil remaining on his deal with a 10 mil cap hit and a .900 and .906 save % last two years
That’s the most immovable contract in the NHL despite what constantly wrong people say |

No they just didn't want Jones to break down. He also just got a huge payday, and has Rodgers trust. This coach actually listens to Rodgers unlike Mike McCarthy and the current GM and President. LaFluer is a real solid coach and I think will be one for a long time. Dillon was being labeled as Henry 2.0 because of size and LaFluer coming from Tenn. I don't see it. He's not as fast, not as big, and just not as good (obviously as Henry is a top 3 back in the league). Like nice dynasty stash, but Jones does it all. He's the lead back (80% share) for at least the next 2 years, probably 3. |

I don't think age will be a problem with him and how he uses his skill set.
As for the dark cloud. So far yes, in the future, we'll see |

I've got a $225 auction draft coming up. I'm debating my keeper. I've narrowed it down to Antonio Gibson for $1 or Davante Adams for $40. I can also keep Ridley for $17 but I'm thinking he's a third place vote. Let me hear your thoughts - TheSabresTaco
Keep Gibson spend $100 on Adams and Ridley if you need to |
