You guys like to pick your whipping boyes! Risto and rhino are gone!! Now it’s Eakins and Ollie. If Ollie scores 20 goals 5 on 5 or power play shut up !! He is one of the few this shi!!y team has for scoring!! So get of his back!! Hank B. You going to answer me on the toughness?
I view any first rounder who didn't at least have a respectable career, but at the same time managed to hang around the league for a bit, as an underachiever. - Powerslave
But, how are you viewing 9 million dollar players?

Team is still soft. They really decided to do nothing about it except bring in John Hayden. Miller scraps sometimes I guess. I think they have too many players with the same kind of temperament and they'll probably get bullied a little bit.

Hmm I don't remember that (and as a Packers fan I think I would have). Adams went for 63 in my league (200). Jones was a keeper for cheap though, so couldn't really gauge him. Either way, Adams will be a monster, but I don't see as many TDs for him this year as last. I still think you can get two of the top 10 players in the league (RB or WR wise) and keep Gibson for 1. But I wouldn't blame you for doing Ridley either for what Broads said. I just am not the biggest Ridley believer in the world. He's had single coverages so far his whole career, usually against CB2 from teams. He's about to get the Julio treatment, which maybe he'll be able to still dominate. I'll let someone else figure that one out, but if I could get him cheaply (like you) definitely worth a consideration. - SDSabre
Sammy Watkins was forgiven?!? Had people defending him on sites like this? He also had 84, 63, and 62 catches while with the Bills on his rookie contract not a league equivalent to the worst in the league.

Who's Ollie? Olofsson?
And Eakin was ragged since he signed. He just stopped being put into a position to royally (frank) us, like Ristolainen was. Eakin is still awful, but with pared down minutes, it's hardly significant anymore.
Olofsson has been seen as a soft power play specialist since midway through his rookie season.

Mike Hoffman is sought after year after year.
Olofsson should get a second rounder at the deadline. If we retain 50% maybe we can squeeze a first rounder - Pegullaville
To me those guys aren't even comparable. Hoffman is a good passer, he isn't just a shot. But even if we suggest Olo is as good, MTL just overpaid a bit to get him as a FA to the tune of 4.5M...we shouldn't look to pay a ton for a PP specialist if we're being smart.
I understand that I'm not going to change your mind on Skinner, but if the Sabres want to get anything out of him then he'll need to play a good amount of even-strength minutes with quality puck distributors. Playing him 4th line minutes will ensure they get next to nothing out of him - Hank Balling
Meatballs played him on the 4th line because the season was long gone and he wanted to see what the youngins could do. But somethin, somethin, 4th-line skimmer

Yea I’m expecting a second rounder for him at the deadline if they end up moving him as long as he is scoring at a 20 goal pace come deadline time.
Contending team can play him on the third line with PP time.
Yes taco Ollie him and he plays soft on a team ! That if they played again women would get their a$$ es handed to them!! Is woman hockey team is tougher than the sabres!! And even meaner when the red tide flows!! You going to answer hank?

I was told Ralph put Skinner on the 4th line due to Skinner making fun of Ralph’s fantasy football team.

Hank, another good read, great job!
At about the mid point of Ralph's 1st season I analyzed Skinners analytics for High/Medium/Low Danger Shots compared to the season previous under Housley. That showed significant decrease in shots from High and Medium danger areas...while a substantial increase in shots from Low Danger areas.
Couple that with a rather significant dropoff in ice time as well as Quality of Teammate...
Well viola, his raw counting stars decreased significantly.
I want to see Skinner with Cozens, and not Olofsson who has proven to be a 3rd liner at 5v5...find someone else on the RW...a guy who battles for the pick and can help find Skinner..he'll be by the front of the net.
Ralph and his dump-in, send back to the point for a shot was 1980's style hockey.
Friggin brutal and Skinner was a guy who lost his game as a result.
