just look up a few teams. look how many 70 pt players they've drafted over the past 18 years.
take Boston, of the top of my head, Bergeron, Marchand, Pastrnak. that 3 right there. and you cannot say they picked early!
take TB. take CAR. take any team and google draft history.

Boston and TB have defintiely drafted very well. Probably the two best teams I can think of off the top of my head. Carolina, meh other than Aho, nothing particularly impressive in terms of drafting.
I guess the question is do you think the Habs are in say the bottom quarter in terms of drafting? As I said before though, I'd say it s pretty average which is unacceptable when there s no cap stopping Bergevin from throwing piles of money at the best scouts.
