As long as as they pick a direction. If they go that one they might as well trade Petry, Chiarot, Edmunson, and Price for a few million retained. Realistically, even if they traded for a center they' d be hard pressed to get a D upgrade also.

As you said quite a few missing pieces.
I just don't see a 2 and 3 C being available, maybe next year UFA and we still need a D upgrade.
Who knows what camp could turn out but all these prospects theyve been selling us on shouuld hopefully be ready to go this year or next.
If you can add something...go for it but dot do anything stupid just to save face

I don't have a problem with either direction. They have alot of good pieces in place still, so I dont mind going balls to walls as long as they find a center and a D upgrade, but failing both they might as well tare it down.

If there s a rebuild though, I sure as well wouldn't want Bergevin and his 5 year plan that was closer to a 10 year plan and we find ourselves in a very awkward position between tear down and go for it.
