Funny. I watched a not NHL quality player take a puck from an NHL quality defensman and score on an NHL quality Goalie. I watched a not NHL quality player take an NHL Superstar out of plays in his Dzone while most other NHL quality players would have watched the puck and let the superstar get open and score. I watched a not NHL quality player snap shots from the top of the red circle and further away through NHL quality defenders to score on NHL quality goalies. Someone is just salty and talking poop about someone they dont watch play - VonDouche
stop this, he's a Flames fan, so of course he knows what NHL quality is. |

You all could laugh all you want but CHRISTIAN DVORAK just went for a 1st and 2nd! So Laf plus for even an injured Eichel is a starting part of an offer at this point. |

the leverage BUF had for that trade has been greatly affected by the whole situation concerning Eichel... the fact that he wants out and that they have to trade bim, combined with important medical concerns, might force them to cut back on the initial asking price. not blaming the sabres for playing hardball though, when you're trading away that kind of player you want to maximize as much as possible on the return. |

They should trade him at some point to acquire assets, but they don't have to. And if teams are offering what Rangers fans on here think he's worth, they'd be better off keeping him. Laf and a 1st and a salary dump (Trouba?) should get the convo started. Anything less for a top 10 centre should be rejected. |

didn't Eichel confirm it was over for him in Buffalo after the disagreement with the team's medical staff? I thought keeping him simply wasn't an option.

Something about Eichel causes me to fear the worst. I have this vision that the team who trades for him is going to become more like the Sabres than the team they hope to become.
Buffalo, on the other hand, should use this opportunity to add substantial depth and talent into their talent pool. If Buffalo does this right, this might be the real turning point in the fortunes of their franchise.
There are about 5 teams that have deep talent pools of impending picks and prospects. Buffalo is already near the top. They have a chance to make a real killing and securing their talent pool for the next 15 years. |

If I'm either the Rangers or the Sabres, I do Eichel for Lafreniere one for one.

Lafreniere could easily end up a bust. If BUF can get Eichel healthy, he's WAY more valuable. |

yeah that makes sense. they hire a coach who's style will mesh perfectly with Lafreniere, i can easily see the rangers trading their brightest young player away for a guy who will be recovering from major surgery. i dont see the rangers doing this trade straight up. just doesnt make sense.
this may be the worst think you've put together. no chance. please cancel my membership. |
