Boomer Esiason was one of the speakers at the Mass for Rod Gilbert and when talking about it he did say that J.D. was there and Chris Drury and he does actually admit that he sensed some real awkwardness

I am telling you, we will never make another trade with Columbus as long as JD is there

bad blood there

I heard a radio interview with JD and he seemed very careful not to say anything controversial, other than to praise Columbus ownership repeatedly, like purposely over-do it

Bruins should trade Pastrnak for a bag of pucks. Guy fukkin sucks! Look at all those turnovers!

Reality is this virus is never going away. Hopefully people get the vax and we can see more full crowds like that

True, but also would like to see more medical experts support people who have had COVID and have natural immunity in living their lives like those who have been vaccinated. So odd to me that very few have supported this.

Drury on whether he sees Chytil and Barron as centers:

"That’s for (Gallant) to decide – lineups. We’ve had discussions… In my head, I see both of them as centers."

He says Barron will start at center for camp. #NYR

Drury stops short of saying Nils Lundkvist is penciled into a starting spot, but says, "It wouldn’t surprise me if at the end of it, he’s standing there on our team."

Drury on the decision to trade for Ryan Reaves:

"We think Ryan is a good player who can do a lot of things… It wasn’t a reaction to one thing… Truth be told, we tried to get Ryan three years ago... His size, his strength, he's physical on the walls. We think he's a good fit."

If you haven't been exposed to covid and are over 40 realistically getting the vaccine is going to help you fight the virus if/when you do get exposed to it.

To your point though it is extremely disappointing that no one will give any credit for those who have already been exposed and thus have natural immunity. But then again natural immunity could then help work towards herd immunity and I think someone very unpopular once suggested that so it could be the reason the medical community won't acknowledge natural immunity and just keep promoting the jab.

Hockey related I would like to see Hertl if we could get him, if nothing but to erase the memory of him ending Biron's career that night in San Jose.

On captaincy, Drury reiterates "it's an important piece for us moving forward to have a captain." But cautions he wants to give Gallant time to get to know players and not force a decision. So, TBD. #NYR

Drury said Kravtsov isn't participating in development camp because he's more "experienced" than other prospects. He's here and will participate in voluntary skates w/ NHL regulars, indicating his status has elevated.

"We were excited with big parts of his game last year." #NYR

Yup. Just by accepting those who have had it as having some level of immunity I think we eliminate a good amount of the divisiveness and finger pointing happening in the world related to COVID. Won’t happen though because the powers that be LOVE that poop

a quick google search will show you that the immunity someone has from getting COVID is not as good as the immunity you get from the vaccine, meaning they want you to get the shot even if you had COVID. making sure we don't hurt some people's feely weelings doesn't help us get out of this. although i dont know if we ever do at this point

but on this topic, as usual, i am probably just pissing into the wind

it seems to be the recipe for russian calder winners is to come over when you are 23 and dominate a la panarin and kaprisov so he would have to buck the trend

Achieving heard immunity was all the media spoke about for the first 6 months-year of COVID, but now it’s bad? I don’t know enough about it to say it’s right or wrong, just saying that by ignoring natural immunity you are going against everything we’ve ever been taught about virus’. The end-zone keeps moving further away. I’m for the vaccine and anything that keeps the most vulnerable safe, just think 2 things can be true at the same time. Not everything is left or right, black or white, right or wrong… gotta learn to find middle group and compromises.
