i have 0 sympathy for those radio host types who were using their shows to spread misinformation about covid and antivax sentiments who then got covid and died. i have more empathy for the people who listen to those figureheads and suffer. still, it's understandable that people would be mad about it. The people "celebrating" death (not sure where you are getting your numbers), while callous on the face of it, are not doing the damage that the people who are getting sick and spreading it are. it's a false equivalency.
