Only person I saw mention something that would work with pittsburgh was an Anaheim poster.

If there was package from the Pens for Gibson, and mind you this all depends on if they even like any of the Pens prospect, but I think you're looking at a 1st, Jarry and their choice of whoever basically. Pettersson? I guess that depends on if they need to fill an LD spot. Who knows if Lindholm bounces.

Obviously we know the cupboards are bare. But after reading the top 25 under 25, so far, every single prospect has suspect skating abilities. They are on the #4 prospect (hallander) who also has skating issues, as well as pussinen but damn they really need to factor in skating when drafting lol.

I think it would take a 1st, POJ, Jarry, and a decent roster player (Pettersson, ZAR?). Anaheim doesn't HAVE TO move Gibson, so you'd have to overpay.

I would do that. I was just saying it was an Anaheim poster named dozer who was making the suggestions as he believes Stolars can stop gap till their next kid is developed and good to go.

SPORTSNET: What did you learn about Sid you didn’t know?

BRIAN BURKE: We have the best practice habits of any team in the NHL, and he drives all that.

Our practices are high-tempo, difficult practices with thoughtful drills and the guys really work hard. Mike Sullivan does a great job, but Sid drives it.

Can we assume your early assessment of the Penguins is that the team isn’t ready to rebuild just yet?

Correct. This group is under contract for another year and we’re going to keep seeing what we can do. We believe in the group.

We’ve made the playoffs 15 straight years. We won two Cups - five and four years ago - and then we were eliminated in the first round the last three years. We’ve got to reverse that trend. (https://www.sportsnet.ca/...s-sidney-crosby-olympics/)

Boyle’s only competition to make the team is an ECHL player named Simon from Croatia or some poop so he’s pretty much a lock. Unless Sullivan shoots himself in the foot.
