“If these lineups go in as scheduled, and everything goes as planned, you’re talking about one of the most special tournaments that’s ever played, if not THE best tournament ever played.”

Couldn’t agree more and am so happy they are going.
Thanks Carol for the updates. Seems Green is also touting the Sedin's philosophy that a team gets better with their core players improving their games. Could be seeing a lot of players on that track from BB to OEL even.
See a lot of hunger resonating throughout organization. Like Gadj showing up early aiming to knock off ZacMac for a roster spot. Camp will be a real battle for up and comers.

Theres more depth and competition this year, thats for sure.
Circling the drain as only the Flames can since 2005...Outstanding work K-Man!!

Man those Flames teams from the 80's were so good. For about ten years they had some epic battles with the Oilers. I swear if it wasn't for the Oilers those Flames teams from the 80's would've won two or three Cups.
After sucking for almost a decade it'd sure be nice for the Canucks to be good for an extended period of time. I think Benning's an idiot, well documented, however, he's actually made some very nice changes this off-season. If they keep drafting above average it might just happen!!
The last time the Canucks were able to be good (2007-2012), from a culmination of good moves by Quinn/Burke/Nonis/Gillis they weren't able to maintain it because their drafting was so poor under Nonis and Gillis....here's to hoping!!
