Kahun signed in the Swiss league. What a head scratcher of a player. I really liked what I saw when he was with the Pens haha, so weird he didnt get a NHL job this season. He'd of helped the Pens forward depth...

Only time I've seen Sid literally cry (more so welling up) was during the Malkin and Letang speeches at his 1000th game ceremony.

He did b!tch (figurative crying) to refs quite a bit in his younger years, which I really didnt like, but its been a long time and a few cups since those days.

Yes, early in his career he complained a lot. I would say around 2014-2015, he seemed to really change in this regard. This is not uncommon among star players. Some older fans may remember during Gretzky's early years how he would complain incessantly to the refs, always posturing for calls. Well, he grew up too. Sid was only 18 as a rookie and was not yet mature as to the ways of the league. That all changed. I remember a game vs Columbus when he was repeatedly crosschecked in the head/neck by noted dirtbag, Dubinsky, and did not seek out the refs (that I noticed). That's around when I first saw this change in his behavior. Any claims that he still behaves this way is strictly reputation-based as he hasn't been that way for years. Quite the opposite: he sets an outstanding example of how to play through that sort of adversity.

It's just two Flyers fans trying (poorly) to troll. I just ignore them. People that call Crosby "Cindy" and "Crysby" 1. Lack creativity
And 2. Are just trying to make Pens fans mad. (Don't let it work)

I have a deep respect for a good portion of Flyers fans, they know a lot about hockey and are insanely loyal to thier team.

Some of them see Pens fans as "fair weather", and let's be honest we have some of those around here due to the recent Successes the Pens have enjoyed.

I guess every fanbase has it's "element", the Flyers certainly being no exception.

Friedman writes: "Finally, a couple clubs indicated they were expecting Tyler Bozak’s decision on where to play in the next few days. The 764-game veteran has a couple of options. Wonder if one is Pittsburgh, with both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin injured to start the year."

Absolutely, he has matured and is actually a great captain and a worthy ambassador of the game. Again, as I said, he lost his composure in 2012 against Philly and in 2013 against Boston, but wised up after that and stopped letting his emotions control him.

I actually always liked Lemieux because of his on-ice demeanor. Lemieux constantly had players that he was literally dragging on him, and he was always (well, usually) very calm on the ice and never complained excessively. Even in Philadelphia, where we like our players who will run through brick walls to win, we always respected Lemieux even though we hated him (well, until the 1994 cancer game, anyway...then we loved him).

And yes, the whiner/Cindy Crysby stuff is all reputation based.

I never got the impression that Flyers fans hated Lemieux. I personally was never anything less than in awe of him. I was not surprised when he was honored in Philly when he returned from his cancer treatments. I think the fans always appreciated him.

And actually #88 was one of the most deserving inductees in recent years.
