These guys missing training camps is a problem to me, it's not just the two weeks missed games. We saw what happened with Geno last season, it took him like 25 games to get going.. And now he's another season older. Same for Sid. There is an argument for rest, for sure, but that early in season I'd much rather have them getting their reps in.
