Haha. I've said before, the time will come where Malkin might need to move to wing like many great centers have as they age and I'd love to see him and Sid play a year together.

Yea definitely something I'd like to see. And now you've got me all for it haha.

Oh, yes, I'd be pissed and so would he. But I don't think he'd complain to the extent where he receives an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, especially when he's pegged (fairly on unfairly) as the future face of the league.

As for fans cheering injuries, listen to the crowd in Pittsburgh when Kasparitis concussed Lindros. They cheered like crazy seeing the opposition's superstar lying motionless of the ice, so spare me the Philly fan stereotype.

Again, some of his teammates early on in his career commented on his behavior. Even in 2012 and 2013, against Philly and Boston, he lost his cool and his team followed suit. But since then, he's definitely grown to become one of the best leaders in the game today, no doubt.

Yeah, can't stand Letang and his head snaps.

...and might I add, (frank) Irvin and his neck! ...and all other Cowboys.

Nope, just returning rude boy's juvenile volleys.

You asked if Crosby cried during surgery idiot but go ahead and talk about juvenile comments.

I'll take our winning history, never tanking to get a top player, never having to be financially bailed out and on the brink changing cities any day of the week my friend. Top 3 all time in win percentage and that's counting Vegas's short tenure.

When is the banner raising for top 3 all time winning percentage?

I always thought the cheering on that Kasper/Lindros hit was more for the big hit and mayley that insued, and not the injury, but after watching the clip, I stand corrected.

I've always stood firm that both the Kasparitis hit and the Stevens hit were, at the time, legal hits. They were predatory, much like some of Tom Wilson's hits, and I hate both players...but they were both completely legal hits.

Man I remember that Kaspar hit, Lindros was in bad shape there. Sucked he had all those concussions. And yea Tom Wilson would have been a perfect fit for the 90's.

Why are people debating that Crysby was a whiner? Hell, he even admitted that he whined too much earlier in his career. Sometimes reputations are hard to escape from!!

They were definitely legal at the time, but like you said, predatory. Kaspar was a predatory player. That's how made his way through the NHL since he wasn't particularly great at hockey.

Stevens would be thrown out of the league in today's game, but the Canadian dinosaurs loved his cheap shots for some reason! Glad the game has evolved! Just regret that no one returned the favor on that ingrate turd!

It's not a reputation if only one other fellow thinks it. It takes many compatriots before that rep is gained. Perhaps you should seek a dictionary?

I would hope people would react differently knowing what we do now about concussions.

Only time I've seen Sid literally cry (more so welling up) was during the Malkin and Letang speeches at his 1000th game ceremony.

He did b!tch (figurative crying) to refs quite a bit in his younger years, which I really didnt like, but its been a long time and a few cups since those days.
