Not sure I would pay either $7mil per at this point. Maybe if it was a one year deal. Malkin is one year older and misses a lot of games. His PPG is higher though.

Last three seasons:

Malkin-156 games 54 goals 120 assists
Giroux-205 games 59 goals 122 assists
