Now if Brady Tkachuk really wants out of Ottawa, the Rangers should make them an offer they can't refuse.
All of these Rangers should be available and included as part of a reasonable package.
Kakko, Strome, Miller, Kreider, Lafreniere, Kravtsov, Chytil, Georgiev and Draft Picks.
Brady Tkachuk is a terrific hockey player. Rangers GM Drury should move on from Eichel immediately and go get Brady Tkachuk. |

Blues do not have their 2022 2nd so they can only offer sheet Brady $10,276,830+ for 4 firsts which OTT would not match or $4,110,733 - $6,166,096 OTT matches and thank STL or $2,055,364 or less and OTT matches and French kisses the STL GM.
Blues also only have 1.5M in cap space with Roberts still left to sign even with Tarasenko gone that is only 9M and they cannot offer sheet Brady for 9M because they do not have their 2022 2nd - Mithos

Curious, are they allowed to offer a 2 year bridge with 2.0mill 1st year & 10 mill the 2nd year & then the comp is only a 1st & 3rd for a 6.0 mill cap hit but 10 mill QO in 2 years? Not sure if CBA allows that large of a difference between years. |

.It is pretty widely known that Tkachuk is not happy with the way negotiations have essentially stalled between Tkachuk and the Sens…
sorry Ek but this makes you loose your credibility with me.
Negotiations like this happened all the time. This is just clickbait |

Fact: Brady Tkachuk has no issues with Ottawa
Fact: He will not be traded for many many years (if ever)
Fact: He will sign a long term extension around 8m or he will get a bridge deal similar or less to Matthew |

There’s absolutely ZERO chance.
St. Louis has absolutely nothing in their prospect pool. |

If NYR don't get Eichel then Tarasenko is plan B. That's been reported numerous times, although not on any other sites? - HockeyBuzzed
Where has this been reported? I mean a site with some sort of decent reputation? |

Tarasenko and Robert Thomas for Tkachuck and conditional 1st round pick based on how many goals 91 scores. - cuethenoise
Lol St. Louis would be giving up the 1st. Thomas is a middle six player. Tarasenko is an injury riddled first line winger that has two years left on his contract. Simply put the Sens cannot be that dumb. |

Yeah, that's why these are rumours, not news. Rumours don't have to come true to have been actual rumours. Now, are they credible rumours? It depends on the sources, but honestly, would it be really that surprising if other teams (St-Louis or not) were considering presenting an offer sheet to Brady Tkachuk? From a Hockey perspective, it would have made more sense for a team to offer sheet Tkachuk than Kotkaniemi (But Tom Dundon fragile ego being what it is :p.) If you ask me, I wouldn't be that surprised to see a team offer sheet Tkachuk, but I would expect Ottawa to match it. Then Tkachuk would be sorta stuck in Ottawa. The whole thing could get messy. Then again, you have plenty of cases of players getting along with their original organization after singing an offer sheet...who knows. |

Contracts can only +/- by 25% year by year. |

Where an offer sheet would screw the Senators is if Tkachuk signed a 4 year offer sheet. Even if Ottawa matches, I could see him intererested in being an UFA after his next contract. |

Not that I remember. I admit I could've been more clear. I said Chabot would play in the NHL 2016-2017. I didn't know how many games he would play but that he was ready for NHL hockey at that point. He played 1 game |

Is this a joke? Ottawa is sending the 1st?
It's amazing to me to see the trades here thinking Tarasenko has any real trade value. Tarasenko is damaged goods. STL, no matter what, will have to retain and still not get anything that significant back.
