I rarely pay attention to the news or covid in the news.
If the disease does spread the same, I'm equally guilty as any antivaxers at the game. You have a point. We killed a few people statistically. Really didnt think of that.
I'm not interested in spending 30 nights at the Sabres games wearing a mask. You have to understand this right?
I'm not driving around in my car alone with a mask on. I hate it too. The vaccination is a " f" you, I'm living my life.
You're preventing it.
I'm glad they implemented the rule. I believe ( not cnn) that it's going to prevent people like yourself from clogging up the hospital's. Making my health insurance rates soar from something preventable.
FDA approved, it's not all a big conspiracy.
More likely anyways. You could be right, the shot is a waste of time ☝️
I'm definitely going with fauci over internet blog guy named alex though....
For now anyways... - Boss34
You care about insurance going up but have never said anything about obesity, smoking, drinking etc…. But Covid, thats the thing that you draw the line on 😆😆. You people are so laughable

You didnt ask me about obesity, smoking and drinking .
Or course they should pay more.
What's your problem? You people. 😀😀😀
You're gonna be the guy asking for prayers right?

Boss man is saying he’s worried about spreading. Now your saying vaccinated spread. Make up your minds.
Spreading and going to the hospital are two separate arguments. How you simpletons can’t wrap that around your heads is beyond me.
If the vaccine does not stop spread (it doesnt unless you don’t believe in science) there will never be herd immunity and the virus will always mutate like the flu. Covid is here to stay. If you are too dumb to realize that or get brainwashed by mass media that somehow Americans have the power to stop a global virus I can’t help you - Alex the Great
If everyone got the flu vaccine there wouldn't be such thing as the flu

You're talking about 9 billion people all getting a shot at the same time. Sometimes you just have to accept things. Covid has been around for a long time, and just like the flu it changes all the time. It will never go away. |

Not true. The flu vaccine is usually ~50% effective because they have to guess at the circulating strains the next year, that doesn't mean it's not incredibly useful though, because, like the covid vaccine, it helps stop severe infection. |

I blame it on Hank The Baller.
Gotta put out more content more frequently...like 2x 3x per day.
Seriously, nice job on the roster preview Hank.
I believe this roster is well positioned for 32nd. That said, I think the Yotes will give them all they can handle to guarantee a top 3 pick next draft. Donnie could very well screw up the plan by getting the kids to enjoy playing again, tapping into youth and enthusiasm.
Adams is going to need to channel his inner Tim Murray GM Tank Commander skills! |

It's a very confusing discussion for people to comprehend.
I am not saying I'm an expert, nor the most informed.
I consider my knowledge on the subject to be average.
I do find if interesting that people take such a strong position based on their little knowledge, ridicule others based on inaccuracies and assumptions; such that their whole argument is void ...yet they keep blasting away digging deeper and deeper.
Let's try to keep it simple.
Masks do provide some level of decrease in spreading the C-19 virus. They do little to protect you the wearer. Those little blue surgical types give people false hope that they are greatly protecting themselves when wearing one...if only they considered the context for use is surgeons wear them to reduce their own germs from transferring to the patient...not to protect themselves from the patients germs.
The vaccine greatly protects the vaccinated from suffering serious illness and hospitalization in the event they are infected themselves. The vaccine does little to nothing to stop the spread of C-19 virus...it does not protect others in that way.
Those who have had the C-19 virus have antibodies in quantities that may and do surpass those who are vaccinated ... in actuality, it is likely that those previously infected by C-19 are now more protected than the vaccinated, lol.
Both the vaccinated and those previously C-19 infected can get C-19 virus again and pass it along to others..both vaccinated and unvaccinated "victims".
Yelling at a previously infected person to get the vaccine under the premiss that they are responsible for killing others is just inaccurate at best.
Moral of the story
If you haven't already been infected, get the vaccine to protect yourself (reduced likelihood) from serious illness and hospitalization. It does not stop transmission of the C-19 virus to others.
The mask can help reduce transmissions...it does little to protect you when wearing one. - IonSabres
Very simple and factual. Nicely done.

Well, yes - it wouldn't be a thing anymore if everyone got the shot in the same way other diseases are technically still around but you never hear about them. |

Boss34 this is a global virus, unless all 8 billion people get the vaccine it will always mutate. Every version of this hasn’t come from other countries. It’s here forever. It’s time to move on.
And yes, unless you live under a rock even the CDC said that vaccinated spread the same as unvaccinated. Look at all these outbreaks on vaccinated sports teams. They don’t even talk about breakthrough cases anymore because vaccinated people get it the same (with stats saying their symptoms are milder in most cases, not all) - Alex the Great
we will never know the real number of people that died from covid in places like
brazil
mexico
india
china
russia
etc |

Well done. The one thing that would lessen the controversy a little bit is if a documented antibody test would suffice in place of a vaccination card. You could even put an expiration date on it (i.e. 6 months, 8 months, etc.). However, governments and private entities refuse to do this. My theory is that it's motivated by money (i.e. these Pharma companies have to recoup their costs somehow), but that's a different rabbit hole.

You can't rely on those. Every single person is unique and handles the viral load differently. Antibodies can vanish within weeks or months. Antibodies doesn't even guarantee that a person contracting covid for a second time will be able to handle it at a lesser severity than the first time.
