You may want to make it a boys' weekend.

Your girlfriend may not like Afghanistan so much...

Yeah she wouldn’t, she’s not a fan of covering her face, have they reinstated that rule?

The leafs would have to hold some of it themselves and his return still wouldn’t be close to Matthews
- Dozzer

If you factor in that he's already received his 2021-22 signing bonus, he's owed an average of just less than $5M per year for the remaining five years of his contract.

Yeah, bad cap hit, but you could easily find a team that would take his contract. The Leafs would not have to retain a cent.

Edit: I divided his total money left by 5 - should have divided by 4.

Math is hard.

It's really bad over there for women now.

I really shouldn't even be joking about it, tbh.

Nope you’re a touch off, I was looking at it the other day actually.

$9.608 million this year and then $7.5 million for the last 3

I know it’s the not the over 10 million cap hit but it’s enough to make teams not offer nearly as much for him.

Oh I know it’s brutal there now, the aim for other countries was to be out by aug 31, did they accomplish that?

This years signing bonus has already been paid.

So if Marner was traded today - you get him for 4 years at a total cost of 25 millionish.

So 6 millionish per year cash. Not bad at all.

welcome back to a more real world, bro

Headed to San Diego now so I’m trying to stave off the more real world as long as I can

I’m the Salt Lake City airport doing one of the most ridiculous flight paths. Straight line from Las Vegas to Salt Lake and then directly back in the opposite direction to San Diego

Then one last stop in Phoenix and I’m shipping back up to Boston, where unfortunately, I’ll be back in lockdown. My mom is starting radiation shortly after I get back, so once I quarantine for a bit and get tested, I’ll be living in a bubble for a while to help out. I was in Alaska and San Francisco before this, though, so at least I got around for a while before that. What are you gonna do, right?

More than that, if it happened next summer it would be 24 million. With this year as well even tho bonus was paid it would be $33,608,000 owed to him.

I think you are looking at the wrong year.

Marner is owed 750k this year 2021-2022 (Bonus already paid)

8 million 2022-2023

8 million 2023-2024

8 million 2024-2025.

Total owed as of today 24.75 million with 4 seasons left to play.

Check the link you posted again.

Marner would never take no 750k little female dog bonus.

He gets big boy bonuses. The salary is 750k.

You might be wrong there.

I believe the $9.608M is signing bonus, the $750K is the base salary - which makes the total salary $10.358M. Cap hit still a mere $10.903M.

Thanks!

She should be good. They were able to take all of the cancer out and there wasn’t any spread. It seems like the radiation is more so to lower the chances of it coming back and afterwards I think she said the chances are around 5%, so that’s great news.

It was 1 hour in one direction and then 2 hours back the opposite way. Not too bad, just looks funny on the map.
