Someone was telling me the rules to get into Rogers Centre was either proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test. Made me wonder - how long ago does this test have to be? A lot can happen between the time I took the test and the time I got the results and the time I showed up at the game.

It's crazy, too. I've had two tests, and I wouldn't want to do that on a regular basis.

It blows me away, I try to explain to people that if unvaccinated they could carry the disease for 3-4 weeks without catching it themselves. However that means they’re still dangerous to others. There is a level of selfishness here because many don’t want to listen to the truths being told

I personally think they won't mandate it under age 12 unless things get real crazy. I think the backlash from parents, even ones who got vaxxed will be upset.

I have a few friends who don't want their children getting it because of the fear of long term effects, especially going through puberty. With that said, my 13 year old decided to get it done. No ill effects to date.

I don’t have children but I’m extremely thankful that my gf’s daughters have all gotten them (youngest is age 14), and both my sisters work in medical care so all their kids have gotten them or will be once they hit the right age.

Like I said, as an epileptic who went through a lobectomy in February and takes 3500mg of meds daily is medically told to get it and I’ve heard of cancer patients in chemotherapy being told to get it, by surgeons and doctors, people should worry less about pre-adolescent children. To be fair tho maybe the government should share this kind of medical info, without giving names obviously, but it may unfrighten people enough.

You can still catch it after vaccination however you only carry it for about 2-3 days and your own immune system fights it off for the most part.

Not vaccinated means 3-4 weeks and a likely hospitalization

Oh I know there will always be a few conservatives like that in Canada but I also read that even O’Toole will be demanding it and the rules being laid out in Ontario restricting what non vaxxers can do is the Ford government

I once spent 2 weeks in the hospital with 3 of those needles that don’t get removed in my arms the entire time. After that happens you get used to it. I still look away while they puncture tho, I won’t lie.
