in the states, the right wingers all were against the vax in the beginning. Even trumphoon....he led the movement. Then of course he got it, but still played to his based. Only months are he got it was he like, "I got it, Im fine, but you do what you want". some right wing politicians in the states are still adament against the vax and masks.

Here in Canuckland....some right wingers (people) slowly started copying the states - grrr vax, grrr masks, along with a few extreme right wing politicians. O'toole still doesnt have 90% of his party vaxxed. But again only recently has he and the more center right politicians been pushing the vax.
Its fake new believing, I gots feedoms gawds gonna protect me, flat earthers that are still so anti vax and anti science. ......until they get sick....then they run to the hospital for all the science help.

Oh I know there will always be a few conservatives like that in Canada but I also read that even O’Toole will be demanding it and the rules being laid out in Ontario restricting what non vaxxers can do is the Ford government

I once spent 2 weeks in the hospital with 3 of those needles that don’t get removed in my arms the entire time. After that happens you get used to it. I still look away while they puncture tho, I won’t lie.

Like I said I’ve given so much blood in my life (every multiple time I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance for instance) that it actually doesn’t bug me anymore.

It’s true that there’s a sub group of people who mistrust the medical establishment and who go their own way and who have been more hesitant on vaccines. Outright opposition has come from conservative radio and television from the beginning, especially in the states but it has seeped in.

As I mentioned, I’m curious how the anti vaxxers will respond when their children get banned from going to school after they reach the age of 12. I’m willing to bet that in most cases even their own kids will start giving them poop lol

Southern Alberta right now: a lot of typically 90+% conservative voting ridings with 30% vaccination rates.

Yes, they exist on all sides of the spectrum but if you had to bet its not tough to figure out where your money should go right now. 🤣

Once again, it’s part of the reason that I feel the fear of needles is playing a bigger role here than most are willing to think. Admittedly nothing more than a gut feeling on my part tho.

surprisingly you forgot to mention all the left media and politicians that would never take the vaccine made while Trump was in office. Black urban vaccination rates are very low. Are they right wing? Green party in canada has low vax rates. Pretty sure not right wing. At least the fake part of your name makes sense

It’s something you get used to.

Better than the seizures I had when they toyed with the meds I was taking to see if they could avoid the lobectomy.

Needless to say after that surgery became necessary according to them, and I know I’m not perfect but I’m far better nowadays
