It’s not completely political but there’s a strong political element. Look at vaccination rates in US states that Trump won compared to states that Biden won. - Canada Cup

I’m not interested in the states’ opinions as much. They’re way too obsessed with an over defined “freedom” imo |

Southern Alberta right now: a lot of typically 90+% conservative voting ridings with 30% vaccination rates.
Yes, they exist on all sides of the spectrum but if you had to bet its not tough to figure out where your money should go right now. 🤣 - joel878
Yes the small rural towns would be low as they havent had many cases in their area and many wont know of anyone who had it. They dont see it as a concern. Being a conservative not the only factor. |

All the loud ones and larger groups are extreme right wingers.
Had one party (states) not pushed so hard against the vax and made up all this fake bs about it and Fauci etc, you'd see a lot more people vaxxed. - Fakepartofme
Like I said I don’t like the states when it comes to observing medical intelligence. Hospitals that charge can’t be much help winning people over. Even tho the vaccine is free there will be people who believe it’s for getting them to require hospitalization. I know it sounds nuts but it’s true.
Oh btw, roughly 10% of North Americans are afraid of needles, so in Canada that means only about 7% might be denying to get it otherwise. I could see that being the significant others of those who fear them. |

Cypress county, 40 mile, MD of Taber... Plenty of southern Alberta townships loaded with rural towns that are defying that philosophy right now.
Cypress county is pushing 1100 cases per 100k, one of the highest rates in Alberta.
Actually, a heavy majority of the astronomical case totals Alberta wide are in rural communities.

I have no doubt there are a low percentage of people who havent got the vax and maybe others due to being afraid of needles.
But I wouldnt label those people as antivaxxers. They probably do or may believe in the science behind it and the fact that it will save their lives...but the delivery of it is simply too terrifying. |

surprisingly you forgot to mention all the left media and politicians that would never take the vaccine made while Trump was in office. Black urban vaccination rates are very low. Are they right wing? Green party in canada has low vax rates. Pretty sure not right wing. At least the fake part of your name makes sense - drexel
Not true at all....predictable coming from you, but a complete lie.
After Trump lied about the virus and then recommended injecting bleach, left politicians/media said that they would listen to "doctors and science" not Trump because they didn't trust him. Rightfully so, he's a lying PoS.
Quite a bit different then your hot take which is exactly the problem.
Hope you took your ivermectim at least. |

but alas, there was nothing that could be done
Alberta's chief medical health officer now says the province's controversial lifting of all COVID-19 public health restrictions in early July set the trajectory for the explosive 4th wave that has pushed its health-care system to the breaking point.

Maybe that’s why I think it needs to be acknowledged…. Perhaps find another way to give them the vaccination, via prescription pills or something |

Most of the write-in answers, which made up 7 percent of answers, responded with “none.” Some jokers put Jared McCann.

This is completely wrong.
As I said it’s not left vs right. It’s people who believe their doctors (both left and right) bs people who believe in nonsense conspiracy theories.
Let’s drop the political accusations, and trust me I’ll put that towards everyone |

I see Kase as a boom or bust addition for the Leafs.
While Ritchie is a "sure" thing in the sense that you know what you get with a guy like him, and it's something that should help the Leafs.

What??? I don't recall a school there. There is an IHOP, and a bar owned by Doug Gilmour (or at least I think it used to be owned by him, not sure if it is anymore.
or are you saying on the north/back side of MLG? The front end, I don't recall a school or a parking lot.
I recall many a time coming out of College station, walking that station with the pics of LEafs on the wall. - prock
On the east side of Church Street. I actually mis-remembered - it's a block north - between Wood Street and Alexander Street.

Alright everyone.
I understand that there are reasonable arguments but when it comes to anti-vaxxers they are part of every political party support groups.
I was letting it slide at first but now I’m seeing a bit of anger expose itself against specific parties so I cannot allow that.
Please drop political referencing.
Thank you. |
