fair enough, however, not for much longer. Our HOA fees are almost $500 a month and we didn’t stay here for almost a year and a half, selling and moving home. |

Here for at least another 4.5 months. Won't see any Canucks games live, though thankfully with the NFL schedule I'll see most Seahawks games |

I don't get the love for that boring logo either, but everyone has their own tastes - Nucker101
Imo, best logo in canuck history and nothing comes even close to it.
Norm also said that the name "canuck" was a derogatory term for a Canadian, which he didn't like. I imagine that had something to do with his distaste for the team |

Honestly, they should just come up with a whole brand new one because all of their logos have pretty much sucked. I don’t mind the modified stick in rink or the current logo but they could use a total rebranding after 50+ years of suckage
How many logos have the LA Kings worn? |

They have needed to rebrand for the last 15 years tbh. The whale is stale, the burgundy seats in the arena is stale, the mascot is stale. A complete overhaul would be a good thing. |

Agree…it’s not like they have some grand winning tradition they’d be disrespecting. |

The original stick/rink logo should get the most love it's the best even the modded one...but the flying skate is pretty cool. Bottom line is the Orca needs to go. Or maybe they can just replace it with an ad for Kraft Dinner or something lol |

Yeah, I think if he gets the surgery he wants he will be out all year, or close to it. - NorthNuck
The recovery time is actually really fast. I can’t remember if it was 31 thoughts or the Athletic podcast, but they had Eichle’s doctor on discussing this surgery and the option the Sabres want and I believe he sad it was something remarkable like 6 weeks from surgery to full range of motion. |

I know the losers in here think the whale is all “Orca Bay” and all that, but if they got a First Nations artist to do it up right, maybe eating a bear or something I think it would be cool. There’s no animal more synonyms with Vancouver (BC) than the Orca! |

But I think the logo should match the team's name. How is a Canuck a stick in a rink?
I'm down for Johnny Canuck, there's some fun Canadian history there and his name is literally Canuck.
Seems weird and awkward to have a logo and team nickname that aren't even directly related to each other so I'm not a fan of the Orca or the stick logo |

Me too. I became a fan of the Canucks when they wore the skate so for me it’s the best jersey they’ve had. Both home and away versions are equally great.

Fair points.
I too like the Johnny Canuck, but Abby is going with that logo, no?
As for the logo matching the team name, there are plenty...the wild, flyers, Caps, Oil, Thrashers, etc. |

I don't care what the logo is, as long as it says VANCOUVER across the front, then I'll know who I'm cheering for. |
