That’s fair.
I also was in the Cozens > Zegras boat.
It’s a moot argument if the players are both 2nd line producers.
What I’m worried about is Quinn being a serviceable NHL’er and is leaving a potential high impact top 6 forward on the board.
That isn’t good, especially with the fact we now have a lack of Center’s in the pipeline (without seeing a Jack Eichel return) - Pegullaville
Before last draft we had a need for wingers... Now that jacks leaving its shifting back to C.
If Jack was staying we'd be lacking in top line winger talent.
Oh how things change in a years time.

Unfortunately we have had a lack of C depth in the system for awhile. We just have to see how Quinn grows, hell the move to C might be a good thing for him. |

Centers can shift to wing. Not all wingers can shift to the middle.
Centers are harder to come by then wingers.
Cozens may end up being a better winger than Center for all we know, however I do feel comfortable projecting him as our long term 2C and would take that bet.
Rossi/Perfetti could easily play the wing if it got to that point.
Take the best player over position of need always. |

I know how it works but sometimes the book gets thrown out the window.
I was shocked when we took him and honestly hated the pick but the past is just that.

Teams should always have 3-4 goalies incase of injury or other bs. Having a zamboni driver play goalie should never happen and makes the league look like a joke

I was one of them and I am not ashamed to admit it. 99.5% of the time that kind of pick goes exactly the way that people expect it to. - Slump Buster

Well we should be good, but we can always go get Curtis McElhinney he meets the age requirements. |

Emergency backups playing have produced 2 amazing stories the last few years. Just them dressing is good fun. It's so incredibly rare, I don't see a problem.

The Sabres made an awful pick with Quinn.
Quinn also could be pretty good
Both can be true
The defense of everything the Harbor Center GM has done is mind boggling.
We finished last and are trying to finish last again - sbroads24
Over-exaggerating as usual
NO ONE is defending “EVERYTHING” Adams has done

If you’re healthy enough to put the sweater on, you’ll be judged on that performance.
If it was that severe they would have shut him down earlier. - Pegullaville
Peggville this needs to be bookmarked.
Quinn could easily have a offseason like josh allen.
Terrible according to you , then the most miraculous turn around in sports history.
I like the upside quinn brings. IMO |

With all that being said -
I look forward to every time Quinn scores reading people on here post
“But I thought Quinn sucked” even though 0 people are saying he’s going to suck or be a complete bust - sbroads24
You mean like how ZERO people are saying Adams has done everything right….
Yet here u are, arguing that’s what’s happening
Good grief dude |

Michael jordan got cut from his high school team , should that have prevented his Jersey from being retired? 🤔 |

Pegsville, how much more "draft capital" did the Sabres recieve for the golden boy Samson?
He clearly showed the ability to play center. Versatility got us futures...
Probably why he went second, as you've pointed out. He was supposed to be a center.... |

That's fair and I respect your opinion on these young draftable players.
Myself, I kinda like the fact that quinn just chose hockey as a #1 sport. He's definitely been banged up.
I guess the pick has some potential built into it.
Rossi may not have as much room to grow? Maybe? |

Watching NFL Live, and they just commented how Allen had the lowest QBR in the league against the zone last week
Was also ranked bottom5 in the NFL in completion %
and bottom 5 in yards per attempt
Hopefully it was just bc Pittsburgh’s defense is that good,
and not that teams are figuring him out |

Quinn could be the best thing since sliced bread, it’s just that the Sabres passed on players that have a higher probability of being bonafide top 6 forwards.
Like others have said, time will tell.

He had problems last year with Zone. Think we need to get that Oline playing better, I mean on 51 drop backs last week Allen was either pressured, sacked or hit on 34 of them. |

I think Daboll needs to do a better job of mixing in different formations.
When there is no threat of a running game and you keep coming out in 3 wide and 4 wide and the Steelers are just going to sit back then you’re playing to their strengths.
Then again, how many defences have the front 7 the Steelers have that can apply pressure without blitzing and be able to devote more guys to coverage areas ? Very few.
Football is a game of chess and the Steelers are one of the few teams that can matchup with the Bills strengths.
We’ll see how they do against Miami this week.
