I mean, there would be some visual benefits if you cranked that AC to 11....

Is OJ actually the odd man out? Which is weird as I think if Green game hime some good TOI and showed some confidence in him he would impress... - LordHumungous
I think he and Hunt will be battling for third pairing D. I think OJ will be given every opportunity to succeed . Training camp is going to be important .

Who was being developed?
Hoglander had a nice 1st season, other than that, the rover wasn't being developed, and if he was being developed, he and they failed miserably at the developing part. - Reubenkincade
Demko as a no.1 Juolevi, Rathbone, Gaudette, as you mentioned Hoglander. Even the waiver pickups were basically here on a running open tryout. |

There’s a bunch of “Kucherov looses his sense of taste and smell” tweets already. But I can’t see teams using Covid to abuse the cap because players won’t get paid. - 1970vintage
They will if they have their shots and get it... a bunch of saints coaches just got it ... all fully vaccinated.

I have a feeling OJ will impress given the opportunity. Showed flashes last year and he knows the time is now. |

I hope he does well. I have a feeling he is on his last chance to prove himself so he needs to be impressive.

Just messing with you. We had this discussion a few months ago, with the roles reversed.👍
Quite honestly, I have been a proponent for trying out kids from the minors, for decades now, if you have a crap team, which has been the case in Canuck land for at least 35 seasons.
No one wants to watch a team of mediocre veterans while the team sucks, you need to have some hope for the future. Not saying I want to see a team full of players that need developing, but 2 or 3 in the lineup, is always a good thing. |

I think having Abbotsford will make a huge difference. Ideally you have a few guys there ready to go at any time.
Now stop f ucking with me. I can barely remember where I put my keys yesterday, let alone an internet conversation a few months ago. 😁 |

I doubt he gets cut regardless. His NHL salary and cap hit are lower than Bonsey, Hunter and Schenner and his AHL salary is higher. He’ll be at least the #8 guy. |

Having the farm team close by will be a big bonus, for sure, but not if a player gets called up only to play 5 minutes or so. |

Yeah, fair enough. I was more saying if a player doesn’t get the shot and then gets sick.
I guess with the league almost fully vaccinated there will be room to finagle some cap space… |

Depends on the player and the role. The real benefit is the roster movement flexibility we haven't had in past years. Players don't have to travel as much back and forth fighting for those 5 minutes. |

Who cares? They’ll take care of it inside the dressing room.
But probably Sutter |

I don't believe 6 or 7 shifts in a game is worth a call up. Unless we are calling up a goon.😁 |

I wonder if its possible we see Garland on pp1 and Miller switch to center on pp2. Seems like we really need a center who can actually win faceoffs there and dyck isnt he. Sutter is a terrible option, i agree, but if JTM EP and Bo are all on that pp1... leaves a question |

I just said Sutter because he’s a Red Deer guy. I honestly don’t care, as I said, the team will take care of it. |
