I honestly think the NHL could end up folding if they don't lift masking restrictions. It's one thing to require people to show proof of full vaccinations to get into the building, but I think it's stupid to force people to mask after they've been fully vaccinated. Cut the damn capacity in half and have people have a covered empty seat in between them. The mask mandates are going to keep people away from the arenas more than the vaccine passports/mandates. - DariusKnight
The other side to that argument is there is no way I am attending an event with 17 000 strangers sitting a foot and a half away from me with no mask. That is why I think the stands will be entertaining and not in a good way.
Yeah, good tune. I don’t actually have any Triumph in my library (yet). Just found Rocky Mountain Way on their ‘77 album. Always liked the Joe Walsh version. Who covered who?

I think BC is still at 50% capacity? The plan was to hit stage 4 - no restrictions - just after labour day, but wave 4 has had other plans.
Wife and I had planned to drive out to Banff in early October but with Alberta declaring *another* state of emergency I’m not dipping even my big toe in that province.

It's a shame that the Alberta Children's Hospital has to shutdown 75% of the operating rooms due to the heavy volume of covid cases.

I don't bear no ill will on anyone rubes but I have good reason for my choices. Since I'm labelled anyways It won't matter but I had a severe reaction to a flu shot years back that put me down for two weeks. Almost hospitalized. I know people personally that have had adverse reactions to this vaccine. So I'll wait and deal with it on any level. Sure I'm set in my ways but I wish no harm on anyone. I don't buy the media division with protecting others and the whole thing. I can only do what I can with things that I can control. Fully vaccinated are passing the virus every bit as much (if not more) than unvaccinated. The labelling doesn't wash. Look no further than what's happening in Israel.
So I am undergoing a battery of major tests for my allergies and reactions. 'if' someday a vaccine makes sense I'll look at it. But for right now it's a medical exemption and if my employer tries to mandate it over that exemption then I have lawyers ready to go with compliance and liability forms. Regardless of what side of the political fence you are on left or right / vax no vax whatever...what's going on with forced vax mandates is just plain wrong. IMO anyways.

I’m not sure who is more brain dead. The sheep that bully people over the vaccine or the tinfoil hat clowns. Both parties are pathetic. Hopefully I pissed off 95 % of posters

The potential for long lasting effects, I would guess, are pretty high for you, given what you have said. Chronic fatigue syndrome and others that would really mess with your lifestyle - sports etc. if a vaccine isn’t an option (risky) your cavalier attitude about it being “just a flu” is pretty dangerous, you should probably be more cautious. Stay safe!

There are so many reasons not to go to a live game these days from costs ,crowds , comfort , line ups for washrooms , parking , HDTV replays and the arenas poor location.
