There are so many reasons not to go to a live game these days from costs ,crowds , comfort , line ups for washrooms , parking , HDTV replays and the arenas poor location.
Alberta is a place to avoid for sure for now. - VANTEL
Honestly, we flew there last weekend for a memorial service. Not much difference between there and here as far as masks and people went. |

I don't bear no ill will on anyone rubes but I have good reason for my choices. Since I'm labelled anyways It won't matter but I had a severe reaction to a flu shot years back that put me down for two weeks. Almost hospitalized. I know people personally that have had adverse reactions to this vaccine. So I'll wait and deal with it on any level. Sure I'm set in my ways but I wish no harm on anyone. I don't buy the media division with protecting others and the whole thing. I can only do what I can with things that I can control. Fully vaccinated are passing the virus every bit as much (if not more) than unvaccinated. The labelling doesn't wash. Look no further than what's happening in Israel.
So I am undergoing a battery of major tests for my allergies and reactions. 'if' someday a vaccine makes sense I'll look at it. But for right now it's a medical exemption and if my employer tries to mandate it over that exemption then I have lawyers ready to go with compliance and liability forms. Regardless of what side of the political fence you are on left or right / vax no vax whatever...what's going on with forced vax mandates is just plain wrong. IMO anyways. - LordHumungous
Your body , your choice. I wear a mask and stay six feet apart from everyone anyways unless they own a nice set of Honeywells.

A friendly reminder that teams in LTI don't accrue daily cap savings. - Thomas Drance
Just a heads up for those of you with the “Canucks have $16m in space” crowd. You only get to exceed the cap by Ferland’s LTI amount if you’re right up against the cap. So you can’t gain extra space by shuffling people between Abbotsford and Vancouver during the season. |

Important to note in the NHL/NHLPA Covid protocols:
“Unvaccinated players who contract COVID-19 during the season and are thus forced to miss games would also be eligible for suspension without pay.” Which explains why there’s only 15 players unvaccinated. |

I’m sure. I see a lot of people daily from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and the Mainland. We’re all Canucks. |

Their Cap guy would have a better idea, but I’d say if they are serious about the playoffs, they need to fit Pettersson and Hughes in at about $13 m in order to fit under the cap with Ferland.
But like always, you completely missed the point of what was posted, good job! |

Yeah, good tune. I don’t actually have any Triumph in my library (yet). Just found Rocky Mountain Way on their ‘77 album. Always liked the Joe Walsh version. Who covered who? - 1970vintage
There a documentary coming out about Triumph soon too...trailer looks good. |

I’m not sure who is more brain dead. The sheep that bully people over the vaccine or the tinfoil hat clowns. Both parties are pathetic. Hopefully I pissed off 95 % of posters - CanuckDon

Just skimmed though the ‘80s stuff, seems like they managed to avoid the temptation to join the hair club for men bands. |

Canucks have confirmed the worst-kept secret in local media: Craig MacEwen, former program director at Sportsnet 650, is the new director of communications, replacing Ben Brown, who stepped down this summer after 16 years with the Canucks. - Patrick Johnston

1) 13M very doable bridge. But Canucks pressing for longterm.
2) Why fit Ferland under the cap?

It’s going to cost 16 million in my opinion, which puts the Canucks up against it and gives them little flexibility. If Benning sticks to his guns, in the end he’s going to lose, the agents know the team needs their best two offensive weapons in order to be competitive. And for Benning to keep his job. Benning also knows this, he’s just hoping on a prayer the players cave. |

Benning did the same thing in the Boeser year . Right up to training camp. Boeser got here late for TC.
Hughes and Canucks might find out they are a better defensive team without Hughes
That was for Rubey . |
