Don't think Green will bump Pearson down. Poor Hogz.
Also, Schenn seems to be forgotten. Boner will be in Abby most likely. Schenn will take the extra spot instead. Can't send OJ down without waiving so.....
It will be good for for Boner. I think OJ gets traded before next season so Boner will get his spot later. - boonerbuck
I think it’s Podz and Pearson on the 3rd line to start. That’s my gut feeling.
In regards to Rathbone, I kind of thought the same thing. But given how much hype he is getting with the media (and some of Aquilini puppets), I think he is locked in. Which means Juolevi will get exposed to waivers at some point.

OJ to Carolina for a pick as they're uniting all the Finns? Don't think OJ would make it through waivers, would rather Rathbone start in the AHL and then work his way up...
Hog - D!ckinson - Pod could be a good line.. would be super annoying to play against.

Rathbone is legit, the talent is there for him to develop into a top 4 dman.
All this fixed line talk is ignoring what Green's been saying. Get ready for revolving options. Plus Canucks aren't flushing out OJ or Bonsey from camp. They'll both factor into the line up for a long look.
Not when they cleared all that cap. Plus agents were talking bridge before Canuck cap moves. The sticking point is probably Canuck long term numbers not high enough so agents throwing those same numbers back for bridge. - NuckUp

Agreed. Just the waiver concern between him and OJ for the roster spot. In a perfect world, he is with the big team. But OJ on waivers? Nope he would be plucked.
So either OJ traded for pick because we can't take salary or Bone in Abby.

I bet if the waived him during the mass cull at the start of the season he would slide through. GM’s won’t want to lose their own player who would need waivers to make space. Being a former first (high) isn’t enough anymore.

Can the Canucks really afford to lose Gustav Forsling 2.0?

Have you seen the rosters of Arizona, Detroit and Buffalo?
Arizona won't be afraid of sending 15 of their players down on waivers.

I think people missed your point, on your lineup you posted.
Not broke but not signed either. Need a contract first. - VANTEL
Im not worried. Little game of chicken never bothered me. Theres a reaso EP is in town and Hughes this weekend, and its not that they missed the ramen.

Maybe....
I doubt Benning risks it though as Joe Levi can be,
1) A player (Not what his draft position calls for though)
2) Asset management (Don't want to lose him for nothing)
3) and pride (Benning doesn't need anymore bad press)
So can we get a 2nd for him? or a switch of prospects? or just wait for the injury bug to hit and recall Rathbone at that time.

Yeah I think they will be signed too but not sure when .
