Can the Canucks really afford to lose Gustav Forsling 2.0? - manvanfan
I mean, no, not really, but think of it this way. If Tucker Poolman didn’t make the team out of camp and was on waivers do you think he would get claimed? Juolevi isn’t as good as Poolsey (yet). |

It was a roster to show even without the two RFAs Canucks can still put together a decent( not great) roster. - VANTEL
It would definitely hurt, not having Elias in the lineup. |

They would both be claimed. |

It would for sure but I don't think as much as it did last year. The addition of Garland and Podkolzin will add a few things Canucks were missing last year (willingness to go to the net) and I think Hogs and Brock one year more experience will be an addition also this year.

Agreed. They are a deeper team than they have had in years.
I am not going to be surprised with Schenn Juolevi and Rathbone sharing time on the 2nd and 3rd pairing on the left side, behind OEL. |

Agree.
I have no idea how things will fall in place once they get started . It is wait and see. A lot of new faces and hopefully a new plan of attack and defend. At least the lineup is better IMO.

I am just restating what I said earlier in the off-season, except I haven't said it 15 times a day. |

I think there is enough talent up front to have the top 3 lines play 15-18 solid minutes each, with the other line playing 8-10 minutes, with Motte and Sutter getting 1st PK minutes.
I am still concerned about the ability of the left side, being able to defend though. |

Its good you cut back posting the same thing so often. Plus it's okay copying my early off season takes. |
