JC's system sucks!

Hey all. Sorry for being MIA lately on the boards. This past week and upcoming weekend are the busiest time for my day job so I've been immersed in that lately.

Otherwise, I'd be posting a lot more about the prospect showcase since prospects are my jam. Going to watch the first game now before I hit the hay before having to get up at 5am to make the donuts.

Anyway, I'll have detailed thoughts about both games and overall impressions on Monday's blog.

I realize I'm not asking for much, but I want Doug Wilson back in his prime working the point. Was agile, could skate, never a goon, respectful of the opposition, and could blast shots through a screen effortlessly. I keep waiting for his replacement. Man, could we use him today!

Out of Borgstrom, Nylander, Gaudette, Strome, Carpenter, Khiria, and the prospects, Connolly at this time may be the best hockey player? You don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Carpenter puts the "Penalty" in Penalty Kill.

RIP Lou Angotti. The Hawks and Ice Hogs should have film segments for their younger 3rd and 4th line players highlighting the play of some of the old fashioned players like Lou. High compete level and went to tough areas at 5’9” and 170 lbs.

RIP , Lou. Still remember the crowd, chanting Lou, Lou! He was a spark plug when he hit the ice. Lou was so fast, and a hustler every time he took a shift.

Looks like ESPN and Turner finally published their lists of broadcasted games. The following links list the 75 exclusive ESPN+ games and the other games to be shown on regular ESPN and ABC games. I'm assuming the 75 ESPN+ games won't be on the DirecTV center ice package. Turner games on 2nd link.

yeah in the first his transition pass inside his blue line was of the mark, and the forward fumbled it. later he lost it at the red line while looking ahead....long road to the NHL.

DelMastro was horsefeathers, but in general they played well. the big Russian former WHL defenseman, now hawk winger Dmitri Osipov was clumsy after Issak Phillips played walk too much blue and coughed.

You pretty well knew who management sees as attackers with Regula the lone dee-man with Dach rotating from right point to left half wall, Reichel in motion, Barratt the bumper, Teply off to a side down low to pull out and close for rebounds from others attempts.

Biggest improving player Loiue Crevier...he looks darn fluid for a giant.

Yeah, I paid for the ESPNplus but it I too am wondering is every out of my Tampa market hawk game not on plus ON Turner or regular ESPN?

I cannot imagine they shut off the NHLTV option without those still coming our way somehow.

1312 regular seasons games.

1000+ to be streamed on ESPN + (old NHLTV)
75 "exclusive" games streamed on ESPN+
28 games on ABC or ESPN
50 games on Turner
= 1153+games

Don't know about the remaining 150 or so games. Maybe these would be the Hockey Night in Canada games or intra Canadian team games show on Rogers or TSN.
