nhl network is not going anywhere - LFS
NOT NHL network...
the NHLtv which allows me/you every game not on the national feeds
Is NHL TV going away?
NHL.tv will cease to exist in the United States and be folded into ESPN+. There will be 75 exclusive games streamed on ESPN+ and Hulu that are produced by ESPN. This deal doesn't impact the NHL Center Ice out-of-market television package sold by providers. |

Greetings, my Chicago friends.
Toying with the idea of going to Lions@Bears.
I would appreciate any and all of your thoughts.
What’s the scalper situation like? Better to get tix beforehand?
Tailgating - can I just bring a 6-pack and hang out outside stadium? Or are there better options?
Thanks in advance
And yes, I will be cheering for the Bears. I’m a Leafs fan - being a Lions fan too would be too much heartache. |

The Blackhawks prospects blew another 3rd period lead, this time they lost 4-3 in a shootout. The Hawks prospects are finding ways to lose games, much like the big club. |

The Hawks should bring Eric Staal to training camp on a PTO. |

Why? He is done. He was awful last season and the Hawks have enough garbage at the forward position |

He doesn't do much of anything these days but spend a lot of time in his own zone.
Obviously people did not watch him last season. He was godawful in Buffalo and marginally better in Montreal.
Tho, shockingly his metrics weren't as bad as looked when i watched him. |

Since we're so darn boring. How about a little misdirection ? Just for a moment I'd like to direct my absolute disgust with MATT NAGY.
Coaching a football game is much more of a chess game than in any other sport and I honestly don't think this guy has a clue on how to put players in a position to excell, or how to utilize your best players.
Today after Andy Dalton got injured, Justin Fields had to come in and be the same stationary, drop back, stay in the pocket quarterback that Mitchell Trubisky was for the last 3 years under Nagy, and almost got his head taken off several times. We fans were screaming for Nagy to roll out Trubisky all along to utilize his escapability. But NO. It was always the QB'S fault for his lack of development. Well guys....look at what's happening again ! Nagy did not call one roll out pass for the kid and one ill-timed QB sweep in the red zone that failed. Nagy's incompetence as an offensive coach just may take Fields down the same road as Trubisky. His play selection when JF was in the game was atrocious. 3rd and 1 at midfield and he runs David Montgomery up the middle for no game. 4th and one he has JF quarterback sneak for no gain, and punt.
I fail to see just how this coach continues to be this ineffective game after game year after year and keep his job. His post game comments are asinine and always claims that " we'll get that cleaned up". What a joke !!
I fear that Justin Fields may never reach his potential under a coach who, in my opinion, doesn't have a clue how to develop talent.
Sorry for the football rant but just had to do it with something so obvious from what I've seen over the past few years.

Not a Nagy fan either or Pace obviously Stan's fault but wouldn't this require 5 downs?

Just saw Powers predicting Reichel making the Hawks...
It is clear how he needs little possession to send the biscuit elsewhere.
He never hesitates and works to areas, adjusts, and is a pass first guy who understands the way to attack.
I just loved the way he is fearless on the wall and just wings many battles for thew puck.
I don't know he can be counted on as a pro scorer.
I guess I wouldn't rush it.
Funny, Powers also crowned Marco Rossi and Boldy the NHLers...
Me I liked Adam Beckman, because he IS a scorer.
