I think playoffs are a lock. Whether or not they do anything in the playoffs, is up in the air. But hopefully they figure that poop out.

Back in the day, it was the place to go on Saturday nights after the game.

Al Strachan was always there. Gord Miller was there a lot. Paul Romanuk.

And Wendel would often show up (he lived on Madison).

It's where I saw the 2002 gold medal game. Funny story: before the game, a guy wearing a USA jersey sorta sidled up to us - asked if it was OK if he watched with us, because he was worried about his safety. We laughed - assured him he was fine, as long as Canada won. Turned out to be a nice guy.

I also saw the Tuck Rule Game there.

I'm just saying they will be tooth and nail all year for a spot. I don't see them being a "lock". Florida is much better, Boston and Tampa are very good, and Montreal just went to the Cup final.

Perfect grinding line to play physical

Most of my Madison experiences were the same. The GD place had like 24 patios and 15 separate sections on like 6 floors. Get (or arrive) hammered and as soon as I had to pee that was basically it. I was never going to find my friends again.

Yup I’ve been there before. It’s a frigging maze. I was only there once but I remember spending half the night walking around just trying to find who I came with.
