Missed the game.........Is there anyone posting stat sheets/time on ice etc.. or was this too casual for that stuff - GPerogie
Not that I found. It was really hard to see who was who with the feed. But a few of the kids stood out. The rink was a standing room only type of place and the scoreboard was a joke. That didn’t even show shot attempts.
The game was entertaining though. 9 goals (one was an empty netter) and one fight. I can say the Flyers PP scored 3 goals out of 4 or 5 attempts. The tic tac toe passing on the PP was sharp and that is where Frost and Foerster shined. Ratty locked good on the PP also. |

Did you expect Keith Jones and Jim Jackson to provide commentary as well? It was a rookie game in September. Teams have paid out full salaries to players for two partial seasons with almost no revenue coming in, did you think that the Rangers would pull out all the stops for a professional broadcast?
don't female dog - enjoy the fact you saw live Flyers hockey in mid September |

Why are you so aggressively rude on here buddy. It was just an answer to a question I asked and an assessment of the feed. Honestly would think at the very least shots would be recorded and shown

I’m not worried about it. I just don’t pay those posters any attention.
The Rags we’re having issues even getting the feed up earlier. So it was pretty JV but you could get a feel for the game.
The guys that most thought were going to look good looked good for the most part. No surprises. Looking forward to Laczynski and York getting a crack at the ice. No pun intended. |

Thanks for responding Had to work Really wanted to watch it......Poor feed or not. Year of the strike (a few strikes ago) I watched every Trenton Titans game on Dial Up B2 Network Feeds through the complete cup run......God that was annoying - but it was still hockey! |

Oh yeah. Bad feed or not. It was fun to watch when the camera guy Caught some good action.
When Allison was asked why he dropped the gloves. "That's part of our identity, we don't let that s--- happen to us." Said he didn’t like the hit on one of his teammates. Good kid |

pee in the wind was "aggressively rude about the broadcast, I was nowhere near rude. Do you honestly think that a rookie game that wasn't even scheduled to be broadcast a day ago should record shots on goal. IT was an intern with a cell phone live streaming and yet you complain about shot totals.

He does have a very good shot. And good for Allison. He's a gamer taking on that 6'8" goon on the Rags. - Letterkenney
Oof. That’s a big boy. Takes a brass pair to go after a guy like that even if you’re a hockey player. After all, he is, too.
Good on Allison. |

It really seems like some of our newest flyers (Alison, Atkinson) really embody orange and black more then 85% of the guys we already have had ok the team..
Alison is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

He gets what it means to play the game the right way as well. I to have become a fan just from the energy, something the Flyers have lacked. Big, strong farm boy who is a very well rounded player. The Flyers haven’t had a forward like him since Simmonds.

Exactly this! The fact he fought a giant to stand up for his teammate speaks volumes about his character. He has a fun personality, a great work ethic, and he is proud of the crest on his Jersey
He even scored at a . 5 ppg playing limited minutes
It's exactly how you said it... This is what this team ahs been missing. Add in RR and I don't think I see this team getting pushed around this upcoming season like they did last season |
