yeah, the leafs missing the playoffs with that kind of roster would definitely be a big fail. then again that would mean not losing in the 1st round, so it might not be that much of a fail after all loll...

seriously though I think they'd perhaps perform better in the playoffs if they struggled a bit during the regular season and then peaked at the right moment to garner enough wins to make it to the post-season. that way maybe the expectations on the team and the pressure to not choke again for the millionth time would be slightly lowered, a little underdog vibe could be psychologically beneficial for them.

Kadri made the deal look even more necessary when he actually got suspended in the playoffs again. I didn't like the deal but he seriously can't stop getting suspended
