Cale Makar, just like Quinn Hughes, is a remarkably talented hockey player. Colorado had the highest GF in the league last year and the third lowest GA….it certainly helps when you play with phenomenally talented players.

Not today, too hot…played on Friday with two touring pros and a former NCAA player. They shot from the tips at 7200 yards, I played one tee in front of them, wow are they good. It was fun to watch. The one guy shot 66

Nice. Ya played with an ex pro awhile back and he laid down a legit 66 from the back tees about 7100 yds. Barely looks like he's swinging the driver and smashes over 320 every time...it's fun to watch but a pisser as well lol

Jack Hughes is probably a cocky kid. He went first overall in the NHL entry draft. There are only 61 kids who have ever done that. He’s been the best player on his team since he was 10 probably.

I think he knows the game better than anyone who frequents these boards and I applaud him for giving a real interview instead of some cliche bullshit.

Hughes had many blunders and was a big reason why the team sucked defensively.
He was making these same mistakes in his 1st season, but because he was playing with one of the best defensive defenseman, they were covered up.
Also, many had blinders on and only get excited about offense and are generally ignorant to the defensive part of the game.
